I used to believe…

When I was in 2nd grade, I used to have a bunch of imaginary ghost friends. Me and a couple of my real friends would always play with them together. Their names were Cameron, Nate, and Molly. I know it sounds creepy, but sometimes I would let them take over my body so they could talk to other people. All of them were very friendly, and although I think I knew they weren't real, I loved them anyways. They disappeared for a few years, but then in 5th grade they were back--but Molly was gone, replaced instead by Amy. I remember Cameron having a crush on me :P I still see them sometimes now, but rarely. They helped me to mAke more than just one real friend.

When I was maybe 5 or 6 I told my mom there was a secret Narnia-like basement door in the back of a closet and there lived a girl named Dana, and a couple others, who looked just like me. I even went to "go get her" and have her meet my mom. My mom went along with it but I thought she really believed me and I felt so bad about it that I confessed I made the whole thing up!

I used to believe that Water Towers held sleeping dragons in them, and that the long pipe coming from the bottom was where they'd tuck their tails.

My father used to watch a lot of those shows about people getting abducted by aliens. It got to the point where I believed that if I slept facing the window I would be abducted. If I wanted to sleep on my right side I would put my pillow at the other side of the bed so I could sleep comfortably without being abducted.

I'm 11 years old, and I have about 32 imaginary siblings, and one REAL sister. So, I don't have any friends, so my "siblings" are there to keep me company. My favorite sibling is my twin Heather. She's similar to me, but in most ways she's not. My older "siblings" tell me encouraging things, and I tell my little "siblings" encouraging things. And my REAL sister, is just a pain.

I thought werewolves were just wolves, only cooler. Consequentially, I "ran a werewolf farm." and I sold imaginary friend werewolves to my classmates. Oddly, the currency was invisible rawhide doggy bones.

Growing up in Detroit, I saw a lot of abandoned places. I thought there was a big conspiracy, and that gangster demons were hiding the unicorns in those dilapidated structures.

When I was about four my Dad took my brother and I to srr ,lOne " "One million Years BC" which was double featured with aMexican vampire movie in Spanish with English subtitles.I could't read yet do I kind of lost interest and nodded off. When I woke up I thought for some reason that the Spanish Vampire was named "Vampedro" and he rose out of a clothes hamper at dusk.Talk about the mind "filling in the blank"! Though I had slept ough most of the vampire movie it became very real to me and I developed a fear of clothes hampers and the name "Pedro" though the movie vampire was not named Pedro. It took me several years to get over being traumatized by a movie I had slept through!

I used to believe in fairies. I even had a fairy friend named Peggy who I would write to. It was probably my parents writing the letters back.
I also thought that the tooth fairy could bring me ANYTHING that could fit under my pillow, and even made a fake tooth out of paper in an attempt to get a book. The "tooth fairy" did give me a book for a real tooth once. I also asked a toy fairy to sew up one of my broken toys. I guess I was convinced fairies could do anything!

When I was about 5 or 6, I had an imaginary friend named Matt. I named him that because he was always on a mattress for some reason. Then he moved to Florida. Why, I don't know.

I used to believe…

When I was really young and first heard of vampires, they terrified me. I never heard of them not being able to enter your house without permission, so I never had that security. I was scared that they would bite me, infect me, then trap me in a small cell forever, since I would be immortal.

I used to have a few imaginary friends, I made them all at the same time, they were mobs from Minecraft, they were Creeper, Zombie, Mr. Pig, Skeleton, and Steve. Since I didn't hang out with them much I used to act like they were SUPER heavy sleepers, so when I wanted to hang out with them I would pretend to wake them up, they used to live by my bed.

I think they are still living in my house...

About death I used to have some strange thoughts. For example, when I was about 4 or 5 years old I used to believe that the moment I hear the announcement of people who died, they would disappear forever. That is why I used to pray for God to make them alive again because I had pity for crying people after their lost. I also used to believe that when you step on a tomb, the corpse draw you inside it. Moreover, I would afraid of cemeteries a lot. Especially in the darkness I wouldn't dare to pass by the place where there is a cemetery.

When I was a child I used to believe in Santa Claus, I used to think that children could receive their presents from him. In addition, I used to believe that cchildren with bad behavior didnt receive good presents, they just got pieces of charcoal. It was something really weird. Over time I could realize that it was false, it was a lie.
