I am 7 years old. I thought that a big moldy alien would come during the full moon and I thought if you weren't good at the piano the aliens would come and eat your head. So I stayed awake and whenever I heard a sound I would hide under my pillows. Now I know UFO are gone. Man I was weird!

I used to believe that the purpose of satellite dishes was to attract aliens. Every time I walked past a house with one on, i would look to see if an alien was stuck to it!

When I was maybe 9, I had an imaginary friend named Mellisona (Stupid name). She was my very best friend, but sometimes I would "forget" her at a mall or something because I got sidetracked and forgot to tell her to come back to the car with us. In order to stop this from happening, I pretended Mellisona was a super hero that could fly through car doors even when the were shut. I never forgot her agian.

Being extremely shielded as a kid, I was never allowed to watch Power Rangers. However, that didnt stop a buttload of Power Ranger commercials from warping my seven-year-old brain. For fun, I convinced myself that if I remained in a dark room for more than ten seconds, the creepy witch villain from the Power Rangers would manifest herself and kill me in some fantastic way. What started as a game eventually became a debilitating fear, to the point that I regressed to sleeping with the light on. I think I just sort of forget about it one day and was cured for good.

when i was like 5-6 and i still believed in the toothe fairy i used to try and make little houses for her (god those took me like a month to make) and whenever they were gone i thought that the toothfairy probly took them back to fairy land (wich i also thought was in my back-yard) but them one day the evil dentist pulled out 5 teeth. i was so devastated and i thought i had to make 5 houses so i stayed up really late making them and then my dad comes in and im still sitting on the floor building stupid houses , so being how stupid i was i instantliy thought my dad was the tooth fairy! but thats not it the next day we had to write a paper about what our parents did and guess what i put down, THE TOOTH FAIRY! i was so proud of it until my teacher wrote on it "please see me with your dad." *hehe*

Way back when, my Dad used to keep my brothers and I amazed by moving a cigarette with static electricity. He would place a cigarette on the table and rub his thumb just in front of it, telling us to watch for the "spark". Sure enough, the cigarette would move towards his thumb every time, but we never could see the spark. We tried for years to repeat the trick, huge friction burns on our thumbs, as we tried desperatly to make it move. It was years later that we found out that all he did was wait until we were concentrating on the "spark" and blow the cigarette along. I was crushed.

When i was little i used to believe that the Witches were out to get me. I used to be convinced that they were hiding at the bottom of my bed and in the night i'd feel a cold clammy hand reaching up to grab my feet. i also thought they set traps around the house for me, so if i turned the hot tap on before the cold, or took only one tissue from the box, or stepped on a certain bit of ground they could take me away to their lair... the only thing was, i didn't know what was a trap, and what i had to do to fall into it... so i lived in fear of being abducted by the witches
I also believed, when i was even younger, that there were pixies in my room, and i lived with the curtains shut for fear of opening them to find a pixie face pressed against the glass. I thought if i was awake at night they'd get me, and then of course i was too scared to get to sleep, so i hid under the covers and cried with terror, hoping my mum would hear me and come save me from them, but the catch was that if the pixies heard me crying they'd know i was awake, so i had to cry silently, so my mum never heard me!

My Dad used to tell me and my brother about this stuff called "shrinking powder" if you took it you would be reduced in size so much you could play in your matchbox cars.

i used to think that that one ugly alien thing on star trek was my boyfriend.
I came up with the conspriacy at a young school age that grown ups had a hidden reason for us going to school. I wasnt allowed too many days off from, school, i thought that there was a big secret kids couldnt no. I believed that it was down to one of two reasons.
1)All grown ups were secret aliens
2)All grown ups walk around naked when kids arent about.
Never did trust my parents fully after that.

When I was about 4 or 5, I had an imaginary friend named Stody. My parents told me he was usually a bird, but I always remembered him being like the cat from the old Nick Jr. show Busy Town. One time I opened the door and invited Stody's "family" inside. I proudly told my parents, "Today is Stody's birthday. We're having a party." I proceeded to set the table for me, Mom, Dad, Stody's mom, Stody's dad, 3 stuffed animals, and the big chair for Stody himself. My dad bought a little Carvel cake and we had a real party and everything. Boy was I something. :)
I once saw a TV programme when I was younger, about aliens abducting humans. One guy on this programme said that he was abducted and had his legs spread by the aliens so that they could do experiemnts on him.
From that day on I could only get to sleep if i had my legs touching together so that the aliens could not get in between them! Even if I remember this nowadays when I am in bed, I still make my legs touch each other before I can go to sleep...and I'm 21 now! hehe
I useed to collect fairy ornaments when i was youge (13 now) and every time i lost a tooth i would go to bed extra early so the tooth fairy could come. I would sometimes even try to stay awake so i could meet the fairys but always fall asleep.

My mother used to tell me that the cemetery was called the "Quiet Park." For many years I thought that ghosts played in cemeteries, but were very quiet about it.
