I used to believe in imaginary friends. I had an imaginary friend named Billy. Whenever I'd break something in the house, I'd say that Billy did it. My parents wouldn't believe me, but some how I managed to have them believe it was my sister! HAHAHA! Billy was a short little guy with big coke bottle glasses and braces because I wanted both of those when I was little. Now, I don't have either one, just contacts. HAHA!

I once started a rumour around my infant school about the ghost in the boys toilet. This became common knowledge and pretty soon everyone had a toilet pal, which was a friend who you always went to the toilet with in case the ghosts was about.
Well one day I needed to go the toilet but my toilet pal was off school sick. I needed to go so I walked up to the door and stuck my head round, ran in, did the business and ran out. I'd never been so scared in my life. Some how I'd seemingly forgotten that the ghost was in fact a figment of my own imagination.

i used to think i had a friend named fred. me and my brothers were the only ones who could see him. when we were learning to ski he managed to steal my cousins skis, push him off and take the skis around the lake. (actually the rope got hooked on the skis and kept dragging them around the lake, nobody in the boat noticed my cousin had fallen of) we blamed fred, for that and alot more. i still laugh at how fred stole dannys skis, hehehe
I told my little sister that E.T. lived in my grandmother's room and he would come and get her if she wasn't careful. She would run past that room to get to hers.

When I was a kid I use to believe that as soon as an individual got out of my eye sight they would turn into a monster not necessarily a bad monster just a monster.
I belived that the fluffy round dandelion seeds that float about were fairies and that if you caught one and made a wish and then blew it away agin it would come true. I still call them fairies today :)

When I was young I saw an episode of some kids TV show where a granny's false teeth were stolen by a 'hand' (think 'Thing' from the Addamm's Family...). Somehow I got it into my head that a hand was going to come and take all my teeth out when I was asleep. I still remember trying to get to sleep that night, but keep my mouth tightly closed at the same time...

Whenever I saw the full moon I used to think that it would change me into a werewolf if I looked at it for too long. I'd always check my face afterwards to see if I'd started changing. :)
I had a tiny wee army of fleas as did my friend,Joey. My main flea was called Angus and Joey's was Kevin but there were many others. They started out as a protection device against the Kevin Beetles, big black poisonous beetles that lived in between the bricks that out street is paved with. They quickley developed into so much more though...
Also,I could see the fleas belonging to Joey quite clearly, and she could see mine, she knew exactly what they looked like without me telling her.

When I was little (until about eight or nine, actually, and sometimes I still believe it), EVERYTHING was alive and had feelings and stuff. I had clouds painted on my ceiling and I would make shapes out of them and give them personalities accordingly. One looked like a platypus and several were people. Some were grumpy and some were fun, and some didn't get along with each other and some were best friends, despite being on opposite sides of my cieling.
I also thought my dolls were alive (but that isn't really unusual). My favorites were (and still are) a baby doll named Abbey (she had lots of names before that, until I decided to name her after a baby in my church.) and Bunny, who is a bunny. Bunny always felt she didn't get as much attention as Abbey, so I was very careful to treat them both fairly. I think this belief came about because Bunny had a slightly squished face which always made it look like she was scowling.
There were lots of other inanimate and imaginary objects that were people. But I will never forget those clouds on my cieling, which got painted over when we moved, the poor dears.

When my brother was little he had an imaginary friend, her name was Minga...yeah, any way I thought that when he talked about "playing with Minga", he had teleported into another world where all his other friends lived.

When I was a little kid, about 3 or 4, I thought that "lepruchans" were 6 foot tall, literally, lepoards that wore green hats, resembling Abe Lincolns, and green disco suits. HAHAHA
I once saw the Easter Bunny. I remember it clearly even though I think it couldn't have actually happened. Every year when I was a child, we celebrated Easter by going to my grandmother's house the night before. My cousins and would sleep in the living room on the couch bed. Facing us were huge bay windows out of which we could see the darkness cloaking the walk up to the porch. Once, I awoke in the middle of the night. I saw one rabbit ear poke above the lower frame of the window. Then I saw another. Then his face. He was the size of a large person. I was frightened, perhaps because of the darkness, perhaps because I was the only one awake. I held very still, not wanting to show that I was awake, but unable to close my eyes until I saw him walk away from the window on two legs. I suppose he left to go hide his eggs. Later on, after being told that the Easter bunny didn't exist, my childhood reasoning led me to believe that a relative of mine had been in a costume hiding the eggs, dressed up the way people don Santa costumes at the mall for Christmas. Wanting to know who the person behind the costume was, I recently brought it up at a family gathering. When I mentioned my memory, no one said anything at first. Then someone spoke up, saying that there was never a year when the eggs were hidden at night. The eggs were always hidden in the morning while the littlest kids were sleeping and while the kids a little older were at morning mass. I don't know what I saw that night. Or if I saw anything. Perhaps my imagination was on overdrive due to my excitement for the next day.

From the ages of two to four I had two imaginary friends. They were twins. There names were Popcity and Citypop. Citypop was evil and always doing bad things to get me in trouble. Popcity was fun and used to play games with me.

When I was about four I had a imaginary friend. Her name was Tao. Tao told me that money was the devil. She told me to take it and hide it in the shoes in the back of my mom's closet. Needless to say after four years of doing this my parents found about $1600 in my mom's shoes.
