Okay, this is somewhat odd. I had an imaginary friend until I was like... 7 or something... Her name was Shadow. Guess what!? SHE WAS MY FRICKING SHADOW! I used to pretend to follow her around (so I was following myself around, which is kinda hard to do if you really think!) and play games with her. We would be spies and steal candy from "The Evil Spies" and all that happy crap. Now I know how fun I am.

i used to think if i let any part of my body hang off the end of the bed, a vampire would order his alligators (which lived dormant under the bed) to eat em!

When I was a child I used to believe that there was a witch waiting outside my window at night, and she would be able to come and get me only if she could see my toes. So I would be awake for a long time, avoiding to sleep in the dark when everyone else were sleeping because I was afraid that, if I slept, I could put my feet out of the sheets without noticing it and therefore having to face the ugly woman... Well, the monsters under my bed also had that "seeing the toes" condition to be able to harm me.

When I was younger, I used to believe that there were monsters underneath my bed and they would eat me if I was on the floor to long, so I would take a running jump and leap into my bed so they couldn't get me. It wasn't until I put stuff under my bed that I realised there was nothing there!

since santa was "alwayws watching", i thought he had all kinds of securtiy cameras all over the world. i pictured him leaning back in a swivel chair and sipping coffee while watching all the monitors. i also checked my house many times for a hidden camera.
I used to believe that my aunt had fairies living at teh bottom of her garden. we used to see their silhouettes flying about and once I even saw one riding a horse. Many years later I found out the it was all created by a projector in the shed.

When I was a little girl, I had an imaginary place called "Cat Land" in our backyard, and when my friends and I entered the backyard we would turn into cats. Being the bossy little girl that I was, I insisted that my friends and I go to the bathroom outside, since that's what a real cat would do. My mother, who happened to notice our "cat droppings" one day, exclaimed, "That big dog is getting into our yard again and crapping behind the shed!" LOL, 15 years later and I still don't plan on telling her what that really was!

ok when i was little my dad would talk to himself all the time and i asked him who he was talking to and he said the little person in his head.then he told me that everyone has a little person in their head and that if i ever saw someone talking to themselves thats who they were talking to. Then i started believeing that and i told all my friends that there was little people living in their head. so i would talk to the man in my head. I did this for about 2 years before he told me his name, but i still "talk" to him. really it is just a reason not to tell people i talk to myself.

ok now i'm just werid to begin with so when the tv show Buffy the Vampire started i would watch every show and I would get really mad if i didn't get to watch it.So when I saw Spike(vampire) and Angel(another vampire)on the show lot I thought they were really people. Then I began to think they lived in my basement where my room was(we have a really nice basement) and that they slpet in the living room down there. They would come to school with me too. They went every where and they "talked" to all my friends. mmy friends would talk back too. then one day they just left, but I told everyone they moved to New york. about a year later i learned that they weren't really real.

When I was small, I believed that someone would come in my room and cut off whatever part of my body that was not covered by my blanket.

When my little sister was very young, she never wanted to clean her room. One day, one of my friends was staying for the night, and we were feeling rather altruistic. So, while my sister was downstairs, we cleaned up everything in her room and left a note that said, "We are little dancing elves who clean your room for you! Our names are Feeby, Fobby, Foe, and Little Foofyfoo."
She believed in those damned elves for YEARS. It got even harder to make her clean, because she was convinced that if she just waited long enough, the elves would do it.
I used to believe in Santa Claus until I was 9. After the mail came one day, my parents excitedly showed me a letter addressed to me from Santa Claus. In the letter, He described in detail how I had gotten into so much trouble that year and if I didn't turn into a good girl soon, I wasn't going to get any Xmas presents. I was stunned that he knew so much about me until I kept reading and started to recognize the handwriting. It was my dad's! I was such a bad girl that year, it was my parents' last attempt to make me better.

when i was little, i was playing scrabble and was losing terribly, so made up the word "yumyoga". my friend and i made up this whole make believe tale of a place which we visited at night. to this day, i still remember the names of several makebelieve characters of which i told people, including my brother. my brother decided to humour me and made up his own world of "fish". one night we promised we'd take each other to our own magical lands. i spent hours hanging curtains and other material to form a sort of tent over the edge of my bed. i filled it with lights and bits of tinsel. telling my brother that he had to keep his eyes shut on the "journey" to yumyoga,(across the landing) i led him into the room... where he laughed at me for having gone to so much effort over something make-believe.

When I was in kindergarten, since every said, "santa sees you all of the time." I thought that he had these huge glasses with many tiny different sections to watch everybody in the world at once. But then I got confused because those would have to be pretty big glasses to have a section for every person in the world.
i used to beleive that the plastic mesh-type stuff that is sometimes placed under people's lawns were nets used to catch the easter bunny. i don't know why i thought this as i thought it up in the middle of the summer.

when i was little i was kind of obcessed and terrified that aliens would come and take over the world. once we were in the grocery store and i saw the weekly world news with a picture of an alien on the cover. not knowing about the um..."creativity" or the articles published in the weekly world news, i was convinced that the aliens had finally come.

at my groandmother's houre there was always this wicker chest type thing that sat in the living room. you could see into it, but not very well, so whatever was in there just looked like shadows. for the longest time i beleived that a devil type creature lived in there, until i was about 8 and my curiosity got the better of me and a opened it.

where i live there are a lot of eucalypus trees. when i was very young (like 5) i had a very bad dream, and was terrified that a big monster would come and get me. if i went outside i was in danger or being caught by the monster, but because he was so big, he'd shake the eucalypus trees when he walked. so i'd go outside and look at the eucalyptus trees, and if they were moving i'd run back inside. because eucalyptus trees are so tall and the trunks are so thin, they move even in the slightest breeze, so i didn't get outside much!

When I was little my grandmother told me that witches hated turtles.
So on Halloween, I came to school with my Yertle the Turtle stuffed animal and everytime I saw a witch, I whispered mysterious words to my turtle and made weird noises if the kids in witch costumes saw me...they were very confused when they turned around with me holding my turtle and saying, "heh heh heh.." under my breath.
But the controversy didn't really start until after I chased my teacher around holding out my turtle saying, "I'm gonna get you!" and shreiking with laughter.
Ok, so I made this story up. But my grandmother really did tell me that turtles scared witches.
