My sister hated it and decided to tell me one day if I kept talkin to myself that I would catch this disease called "Aintlifegrand" (she said it so fast it sounded like a real diagnosis). She said that your legs would be your arms and your arms would be your legs and your eyes would fall out. then everyday you would knock on peoples door and say "AInt LIfe grand?" I was so scared and i never talked to my "friends" again.

When I was like 6 or 7 at school me and a bunch of my friends were suppose to go in the bathroom one by one and do "Bloody Mary" and see if you could "see" her. Well i was scared and didnt wanna see her so i didnt do anything. All the other kids came back and said that when they flushed the toliet (like they were supppose to) saw her in the mirror. So from then on for a long time i thought if you flushed the toliet and looked in the mirror you would "see her" so i would flush the toliet and run out the bathroom

When I was younger, about 3 or so, I watched a scary vampire movie with my father. It was Thanksgiving so in the kitchen my mom was preparing a turkey and when I was done I figured I'd check up on her. I pulled a chair up to the sink looked at the turkey and said, "Is he dead yet?" My mom answered with a simple, "Yes honey, he's dead." Well since I had just gotten done watching the movie I was a bit worried and told mamma "He's gonna get up and get us now." Whenever mom feels like embarrassing me she tells the story about how I thought the turky was a vampire.

When I was 6 years old a fellow student told me that Gremlins were haunting me and the only way to get them to stop was to go to Jupiter and complete a deadly maze. Somehow I figured myself that if i was near my stuffed cat "Tiger" I would be safe. This went on for about 6 months but gradually i became less and less scared.

Obviously when I was little I believed in Santa Claus.... but this was reinforced by our living near an Air Force Base. On Christmas eve, my dad waited until a plane flew over our house without landing lights on yet, and then called us over to point out Rudolph's blinking red nose (the anti-collision red light on the belly of the plane). Real proof!

When I was little I used to be scared about putting lost teeth under my pillow. The idea of the tooth fairy coming into my room and going under my pillow really frightened me.

I used to believe that if you went past a mirror in the dark, a bloody woman would be there staring at you and if you made eye contact with her, she would jump out and drag you into the mirror world. I would always refuse to look at a mirror if I went past one in the dark. I think I got this from "bloody mary" stories that kids told me when I was little.
