I used to think that monsters would come and get me after i fell asleep. So I always made booby traps and right after that i would usually fall asleep with the light on. IN the morning hte light would be off and hte traps would be messed up. i thought wow! i taught those monsters! now i know that the "monsters" were my parents who came in to turn the light off

When i was little i saw the show unsolved mysteries. They showed this thing that was a "Mothman" It had fur and red eyes. It could fly and it scared the hell out of me. From then on whenever i saw a moth i would scream and run inside.
I used to be afraid of the window. I thought that there was some escaped maniac standing outside. The when i opened the curtain i would see his face and he would smile really scary. So when ever i neared the window i would scream. It annoyed my parents so mush that they made me sleep somewhere without windows. And that was their closet. But i loved it. Finally i overcame my fear

When I was younger, and first started going to school. I developed like an imaginary big brother type of imaginary friend. I think his name was Mike, and the idea was that he'd protect me. Probaly because I felt vunerable after this 1st grade teacher made me apologize to a bully at school, I slammed into a locker.
Also when I was younger I would think my stuffed animals were real. And that if they weren't all on my bed, or I didn't sleep with all of them, the ones I didn't sleep with would feel neglected.

This is actually about a 4 year old boy that I baby-sit sometimes.
This past Christmas, "Santa" visited him during the Christmas Eve party his family was having. The poor kid freaked out and ran underneath the table. He was so scared because he hadn't been such a good boy that year and he knew from the song "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" that Santa had always been watching him. He was afraid Santa was going to yell at him.
I used to believe that the old folk tale of "Bloody Mary" was true. The old tale was about a girl who had died and you would see her in the mirror, then she would reach out and scratch you. My mom had to take out all the mirrors in my room. I even had to have someone go to the bathroom with me because of the bathroom mirror. I believed this until I was 7 years old.

When i was younger, i had 2 imaginary friends. One was Bobby, the other Joe. The weird thing? Joe was a girl. i told everyone that would listen about the adventures of Bobby and Joe. Soon, i decided they were in love. One dday, i was in the kitchen telling my mom about thier latest adventure, and i told mom that Bobby and Joe fell in love. My mom looked at me and said "Maybe Bobby likes someone else, honey. Bobby can't be in love with Joe. It's bad." I refused to talk to her for a week i was so outraged.

When I was 6 I thought there was a hunter and his bloodhound and they would always try to kill me and put my head on a wall as a trophy. I would always hide under the covers at night when I was sure they were coming. And then one night, I pulled off his jacket, and they turned out to be a bunch of baby chickens stacked on each other's backs who just came to give me candy.

When I was in the second grade, my best friend had an imaginary buddy named either Bill or Bob (I forget because I was mixing up the names anyway.) Anyway, Bill/Bob could play tetherball and kickball and he could jump rope. I remember at lunch and in class he would shrink and fit into my friend's pocket. I always imagined him with a head made out of cardboard.
We were very weird (and still are)

When I was 5, I had a pet water balloon. My mom picked it up out of the pool, squeezed it, made "arf arf" doggie sounds, and convinced me it was a real animal. So I named it Puppy, but sadly after three days Puppy popped and I cried about it for days.

when i was little, i used to believe in santa. Then my mom would stand in front of my room and tell my dad it was ok to get all of the presents out. Thats when i found out about santa.
I believed in Santa until I was about 10, but I would have stopped sooner if it wasn't for this. One day when I was 8 years old, my mom was watching the news. They were showing some sort of clip of Santa and his reindeer flying through the air. I thought that this was footage that someone had captured of Santa! My mom told me that it was and someone from Europe had videotaped it. I really believed this! Later did I find out it was just something from a movie.

When I was about six I was in a wedding. The other flower girl said she was from Pennsylvania, which scared me because I thought she was a Vampire. I kept trying to get a good look at her teeth to see if they really were long. I tried to be polite about it all, because I knew it wasn't her fault she was born a vampire!
I used to believe that if you kept your stocking up, your keep getting more stuff in it. Cuz think about it, being 4 or 5 and you put your stocking up xmas eve (not knowing the difference b/t xmas and another day) and you wake up and you have candy and stuff in it. I did it and then realized that it ain't gonna work after about 2 weeks of trying!
I used to have an imaginary friend named Smellgood & it started out that she was my doll & she smelled good & I was trying to think up her name & my mom named her. And then she grew up to be a librarian & she had children, I don't remember their names tho. I used to get on my mom's nerves telling her about wat Smellgood did, & eventually Smellgood grew old & when I was about 6 my sister told me Smellgood was in the hospital & had died . I cried for weeks!

When I was about 8 years old, I had this Barney Bedtime Book and it was around Christmas Time. They kept playing "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town". Well, the lyrics creeped me out and I thought Santa meant to burn my eyes out with the Sandman(the Barney book had a story about him). So I laid there in bed, on Christmas Eve shaking in fear.
(I have another one!)
I once, about 7, believed that the Tooth Fairy would yank all my teeth out. I always woke up in the middle of the night to make sure my mouth was shut.
