my older sister convinced me that if i sat in our dressing-up box long enough it would transport me to another world, like Dr who. when i started to get fed up, she actaully covered the room in sheets and hid cadbury creme eggs everywhere and i thought it was easter land!

Instead of being afraid of the "Boogie Man" I imagined he looked like the ghost that was on the movie Ghostbusters logo and it walked around with sunglasses on dancing and singing "Boogie Man, Boogie Man, Boo boo boo boo Boogie Man" So I wasn't afraid of him. I tried to find him.

When I was little I thought that Santa could very easily cover the world in one night. That's why we all live in different time zones, duh.

Okay, this is a crazy one! When I was little, I had MANY MANY MANY imaginary friends. So many, that I didn't even know them all. I had a place inside my brain called 'Imaginary Land' and when I closed my eyes I could see it. There was a short skinny man dressed like a doctor with glasses, who was balding. He was called 'Professor'. He stood oustide Imaginary land and held my key to the gates for me when I came and went. With my eyes closed, I saw myself talking to Professor, taking my key and opening the half-gold, half-silver gates to my land of imaginary friends. Then I would pick 1 or 2 or 3 of my friends and take them out, open my eyes and they would be in the real world with me. To name the only ones I ever played with: A monkey that jumped all over everything (I sat in school and glanced all over the room watching him do silly things that no one else could see, like sitting on peoples' heads), a tiny baby panda bear, 2 GIANT german shepherd with giant puppies (The mom was Midnight, the dad was Demon), A cool roller-skating girl (when I was in the car she would be outside of the window following us and keeping up, and she could skate up trees and along power lines!), my imaginary boyfriend with an australian accent names Killer (???), and an Eagle that could fly anywhere and bring me back anything.
Oh...boy.

When i was smaller i had read a story where a fairy had played a trick on a young lady beacuse she had wished that she was like the flowers and in the end she died in the winter.Scared i ran to my mother who was talking on the phone and at that monment i heard my mom say,"Well i dont care Honey you might as well go to hell."i was crying for over an hour thinking my dad had been taken by fairies to hell.
(fairy tales screw kids up huh?)
I used to believe if I held my breath, the scary monsters (in closets, under beds, in the basement) couldn't get me. This proved troublesome everytime I was called to dinner. i would leave my room, turn off the lights, and run like hell down the hall and the stairs, skidding into the kitchen gasping for air, I find I still hold my breath coming up from the cellar.

When I was a kid I used to believe that the Easter Bunny lived on the south pole, since Easter was spring and the south pole must be warmer than teh north (wrong in actuality..and it's fall in the southern hemisphere anyway in Easter!)
I also used to beleive that there was a special hotline that The Easter Bunny and Santa Claus shared to kell each other about what kids were good and which were bad.

Ever since I got into Pokemon, I've been "bringing" an imaginary Pikachu to class. I kept whispering to it and stuff and asking if it was hungry. Weeks after that, I forgot about about my imaginary Pikachu.

When I was little, like 5, I used to believe that a flat paper thin man lived between the back of the couch and the wall. I was terrified of this man and claimed he was wearing a tophat and carried a cane.

When I was little, my imaginary friend was a vampire. He always wore a black suit with a grey tie, and he had a pale face and black hair. He never told me his name, and I used to talk to him because he lived in the dark bathroom, and under the pier at the lake. He would only come out when I was alone, and talk to me about books. I was an odd kid.

When I was little, some guy (I still dont know who it was) would come to my house every year with a fake dear head and tap it on the window, one christmas eve, me and my dad were sitting down watching tv, i then heard it and we both ran to the window and pointed at it, after it had gone, my dad said "wo that was some tall deer!" and i was like "no daddy it was one of santas reindeer" then i ran to the door and screamed "blitzon come back!"

My Mom has a porcelin doll and she is one of the larger type. I thought and still do that the doll was plotting to kill me. I had trouble going into my parents room from the day she got the doll and still now. I always check to make sure their door is closed so she can't get out. One too many Chuckie movies I guess.

when i was about 6 or 7 and was just before new years eve, a friend of mine told me tha Santa claus was going to put my present underneath my bed and that it would be there to find it next day (his parents always did that).I looked the next morning and to my dissapointment there was nothing. I run and cried to my mum explaining her why santa claus was so unfair to me. She, with cynicm explained to me the truth and that was the time that i stop believing in all these stories.
i communicated with my imaginary friend, a jewel encrusted pegasus by pressing a beauty mark on my wrist, then talking into it. my pegasus always arrived when i called and transformed into any shape, person, or thing that i wanted. if only i could now...

wheni was in grade 2 or three, i was friends with this girl in school and we would pretend to fight evil witches in the summer and evil snowmen in the winter and i guess it was strange because i made the whole thng up but i belived everything was happening i was talking to that friends last week and we were laughing about it!
I loved the Wizard of Oz as a kid...still do actually...and my mom taped something off the television for me. They played the movie and then, afterwards, there was this thing that talked about the actors, the producers, etc...and all about how they made the movie. First they had Dorothy and the Wicked Witch of the West standing next to each other and I couldn't understand how Dorothy could stand next to her if she was dead. They went through and explained the lives of the actors and said that Judy Garland was dead. I didn't understand that because I watched her everyday. Then they also had the guy who did the special effects for the tornado on there explaining everything. I cried and kept asking mom why the evil man would create a tornado and how he could do it. I thought only God could make tornados. I guess I didn't understand yet that it was just a movie and the people were just actors. I also thought the munchkins were really just little kids instead of little people. They showed the actors who played the munchkins and they were all really old and they scared me too. I was also madly in love with the Tinman...come on, who wasn't?! :)
