i believe that pumpkins are evil!i think they move around while the family are in bed and torture the rest of the things in the house. In the day, the creepy face of the jack-o' lanturn will tease the household objects with his mysterious grin as they know they are in for a night of terror.

I used to believe…

When I was about four I started to believe that everytime I couldn't find something it was because the ghosts living in my grandma's house (where we lived, too) were playing jokes on me and hiding them. I used to walk around saying, "Come on, guys! It's not funny anymore!" Still to this day I find myself thinking about that whenever I can't find something!

When i was younger i watched pewee herman a lot and in one episode there was a monster that was big blue with 1 foot 1 eye and a mouth on the side and its hop around making a bump bump sound. I was so afaid that he was going 2 eat me whenever i heard the base from cars passing by my house i was positive it was the bump bump monster comeing to get me so i would hide in my older sisters closet. To make things worse, my older sister decided it was funny to play along. As i was sitting in the closet she started screaming and say that he was eatting her; i sat in the closet for 2 hours b4 my mom found me crying.

When I was little, my mum used to tell me that if you didn't go to sleep, the moon would see you and tell his friend, Mr Crane (not a bird, the mechanical type!) would come and lift you out of bed and take you to a place where all the nughty children go. Needless to say I had a few nightmares and wouldn't go near cranes til I was about 7.

One day i was on the phone with my friend as she was babysitting her little sister and she handed me the phone because her sister wanted to talk to me she said "hello daria, i have a pet rock and he just pooped but you don't have to clean it up because it is invisible and doesnt smell"....her little sister still beleives in her pet

When I was younger i had this big fear of the dark because i thought thats when monsters came out and ate you...so in my childhood i developed this theory that if i pretended i was a monster that all the other monsters would be afraid of me. Needless to say i ran around in the ark growling and acting like a lunatic tryin to make myself look like a monster....

I used to be a spoiled brat and i used to cry a lot.
so my aunt told me that if i kept cryin a beast would break thru the window and bet me!!!

When i was little, i had a guy jump out at me from underneath the leaf piles on the side of the street. This was on halloween. For a while after that, i thought that people were actually buried in those leaf piles, but later i found out the truth.

when i was small(7-8) i thought that ghosts were evil spirits that you could actually see. well one day i thought i had seen a ghost so i told my mom and she told me that ghosts weren't real. then a said what about scooby doo. he fights off ghosts. my mom then told me about cartoons and how they weren't real.

I used to belive on halloween night that Micheal Myres would kill me when I came to 109 Elm St. I belived this becuz when my friend was holloweenin she died at 109 Elm St. After she passed out Micheal Myres came walking down the street with a knife in his hand(it was real).

One year around christmas i was being pretty bad so my mom said that if i wasnt good i would get coal in my stocking. I imediatly burst into tear and said I Dont want slaw in my stocking. I thought she was refering to coal slaw and that was the worst food my five year old brain could imagine

I used to believe that the Easter bunnies lived in the bush behind my house. My sister said if I ever forgot to feed them they would die and easter would never come.

I used to belive that I TRUELY did have an imaginary friend, because I thought i would be a loser if i didnt..... so everytime my bestfriend came over we would play for hours with her.... and pretend to have fun so we both would get accepted

once my beeeeesssssttttt friend told me that if i want to disappear i have to say bloody mary three times while in the bathroom in the dark.I always want to know how to vanish so i did it any way but didn't work!?!?!? so i told my best friend that it's over! but of course it was just a joke to pay him back. >.< lol

When I was little I had this Barney the Dinosaur Sing-Along video. It had the song "Sally the Camel" on it, where the kids would be wearing this sheet over their heads, and after each verse one would crouch down, so the "camel" lost a hump. I'm not really sure why, but I was sure that "Sally" was a ghost who lived in the hallway and would eat me unless I ran at top speed all the way down it. Meep!

Thanks to my dads devil lock i used to believe that the boogi man was green was covered completely in tatoos and had a devils lock. He killed you by whipping his devils lock at your neck and chokes you to death
