I actually had an entire imaginary society, Project Reality. The "project" we were trying to accomplish was to create another world to live in when we got tired of Earth (read: ASAP). We had some pretty elaborate schemes, involving portals and time travel and whatnot, in hidden areas in various wooded areas.

A few of the project's members, if I remember correctly: Annie Dinny, who was my age and my best friend; Andro Gene, whom I eventually married; Jack Dodger, the six-inch-tall elf who kept the library; and Paul McCartney. I'm not sure why he got involved. I must have been an odd child.

Hey yall, hear this!
I used to believe there was a monster on my roof because everytime I threw a ball on the roof it would come back down to me. And get this, everytime my 19 year old cuz threw the ball, the monster got scared cuz my cuz was a baseball pitcher and he pitched real fast like so the ball went to the other side

When i was younger, my dad told me and my sis that tooth-fairies existed. they'd only come at night when you sleep. one night i left a tooth underneth my pillow and the fairy didn't come.(i didn't tell my dad that my tooth fell out) he told me it rained the previous night and the fairy's wings got too wet to fly

When i was young i saw this movie where a lady had a zipper on her back and she unzipped it and dis alien came out. When ever i was near my mom i used to touch her back and run when she looked at me.

I used to believe the colorful lights peaking in through the blinds were faeries. The red ones were evil, you couldn't let them see you. The green ones held candy within them and the rest just loved to play tag and giggle.

when i was about 5-9 i used to think that life wasnt real and that we humans were just acting out a story that some alien mom was reading to her kid, and then when we went to sleep, she stopped reading for a little bit, and if anyone found out, thats why they died.

I had an imaginary friend when I was little. My imaginary friend was my washcloth in the bathtub. I would make him swim around all over the place and his name was Towlie.

There was a massive hype at my school about "The Bloody Mary Dare". Basically, these girls told the rest of the class that if you looked into a mirror at midnight and whispered "Bloody Mary" three times, Mary's ghost would come up behind you and tap you on the back...

This petrified me; one girl said that she'd done it and she'd felt someone scratch her all the way down her back. I couldn't ever look in the mirror in the same way again. My friend used to tease me when she came over for a sleepover and start saying it, and I'd always try and stop her! IT WAS SO SCARY!

The sand man was always a favourite where i grew up . The parent's talked to their children and explained to them that a fairy creature would come into their room at night and sprinkle fairy dust in their eyes to gently send them to sleep and when you wake up in the morning te sleep will still be in your eyes. However my vision was much different.A red haired troll ,with horrible skin and abnormal muscles dribbling on my pillow shovelling grit into my eyes . YUK !! . I made sure he wasn't sending me to sleep.

I used to be one of those kids who thought inanimate objects came to life at night when no one else was around. Now, around Halloween, this became quite a problem. My mom used to go all out decorating the entire house with skeletons, a life-sized Dracula that sat at our dinner table, and even a replica of the killer from Scream. It didn't help that there was a giant fake spider web, complete with huge fake spider that was right outside my room (Spiders are my worst fear). Needless to say I never got much sleep for the entire month of October. Looking back on it now, I was also rather afraid of one of the Santa decorations that was put up around Christmastime. I was a rather troubled child.

When i was little my Dad told me every Halloween that Monkeys with huge butcher knives would come after little brunettes with blue eyes and cut their head off.. so every year i wouldn't go out past dark on Halloween.. untill i was about 9

I had a imaginary friend named Head-head ( I must have benn the weirdest child) he was a professional tightrope walker in the circus. I scared my parents plenty of times by climbing high and walking on the edge. I thought I was safe cuz Head-head was with me.

I used to believe…

DONT ASK ME WHERE I GOT IT ...OR TAKE ANY OFFENCE....but when i first heard the words gay and lesbain I thought they were a type of aliens. Do you know how scared i was when i found out these "aliens" were on earth. I thought we were invaded

I used to really, really believe in the Easter Bunny...until one Easter at church, they had an 'Easter Bunny' that you could get your picture taken with. I got my picture with the huge rabbit, then he gave me this big, purple candy-thing that you suck on (I was a small four-year-old at the time) and I was sucking on it and accidentaly swallowed it and it got stuck in my throat! My parents and other adults ran to help me...as well as the Easter Bunny, who promptly ripped of his costume head to help, too.
I don't think I've had a worse scare...!

I used to believe that we were all just part of Alvin the Chipmunk's dream. I constantly tip toed around the house because I thought if I woke him up, "the end" would come and would fulfill the prophecy. (My parents were religous freaks.)

When I was a child I was convinced that ghosts would come and grab my feet from the end of my bed. To this day, I still have to have my feet covered, even in hot weather!

I had two imaginary friends called Sally and Jane. They would sit either side of me in the car and slept in the bottom bunk of my bed. They wore matching dungarees and coloured t-shirts just like me. The wierd thing is that I really, really believed they were there!

I once had a dream that a huge orange monster, made from towel material, had chased me down the stairs at home and i shot him. For years after, i would run down the stairs with my hand pointing out behind me pretending it was a gun! I still get a weird feeling walking down the stairs now!

i used to have an imaginary friend called emily and one day we went out and i asked if i could take emily and my mum said who is emily and i said my best friend and she says no so i tured round and said no to her and my mum said oh right emily oh ok sure she can come but then my mum ended up sitting on her and this was when i was 4 years old and i was very upset but now i am 13 and i have a new imaginary friend called bob
