When I was little, I believed that radio towers were where witches lived. The bigger the tower, the more powerful the witch. If a witch caught you on or near her (because only women were witches), she would kill you, make you into pancakes, and eat you with lots of butter and syrup.

When I was little, my brother told me that if I wouldn't go to sleep, the witches would get me. To this day I still can't sleep without the covers on me no matter how hot it is because of the witches. Thanks, bro.
I dont know if this EVER happend to anyone else. ok.. But I used to love this anime series "Avatar" where the people could wield the power of the four elements Earth, Water, Wind and Fire. Well, once I was walking down a dusty road on the farm, when the Milk tanker drove past, blowing the dust into the air infront of me. I raised my arms up and swooshed them to my right concentrating extremely hard on the that dust!!! And. Sure enough, the wind decided to blow the dust in the same direction I was hoping for. I believed I was an air bender. For years to come I would continue doing this, and even when I failed I wouild tell myself 'damn. Concentrate harder next time!' !!!

When ever i saw a "face" in objects or walls ie. tree trunk, bedroom wall splatter (splatter of what who knows), I would think it was watching me and stare back into their "eyes" (I was a lonley kid)
I had a dragon named Sherlock who used to visit me every night before I went to sleep. He had the biggest yellow/green eyes that were the size of my bedroom window and he would chat to me and protect me. When my parents were trying to kill each other he would let me on his back and we'd fly to the moon. I miss him

When I was in 5th grade I had an imaginary friend named Danny who was a punk with a studded leather jacket and a tall black Mohawk he would dye green & was 3 yrs older than me. He was really cute and hated me but decided to talk to me. For years I've been into punk because of him and still communicate with him. Except now these days he has dirty blue hair in liberty spikes that looks like dreads cuz he doesn't clean it. Were always crazy n hyper. Wish we could be together but we no we can't.
i had a horrible childhood. I used to hide in the back of the closet under our stairs. One day i opened the door, and there was a VERY fat british man with orange yarn hair sitting in my spot. I wasnt in school yet. Maybe 4. He said "ive been waiting so long. I didnt think youd come." his name was gravie and he lived at arctic circle (fast food at the end of my street). He smelled like fries, and he always knew the best games, but he got me in trouble a lot. I used to tell my mom "you have to be nice. Gravie said so". He left for actic circle at bedtime when i was 10 and never came back :(

My little brother used to have a "Friend" called Logan. At the dinner table he would talk about Logan. My mum went to his Nursery once and asked if there was a boy/girl called Logan there, but there wasn't. So thats why i think it was an imaginary friend.

.. you know the tooth fairy story righhtt... well.. when I was 5 I was so excited to lose my first tooth so I could receive some money from the tooth fairy like the other kids did .. I eventually did and was so happy I went to sleep early and kept the tooth under the pillow I told my parents they were excited too and they told me I would receive money from the fairy... I woke up in the morning and with excitement I whipped my pillow up .. and realize there was nothing.. at all.. I checked around my bed, to find my tooth on the floor with my toys... looked like the tooth fairy forgot about me...... and so did my parents .... thanks mum & dad that was my first tooth too.
I used to believe that Santa and God were really good friends and hung out together, and would switch out who's sky they went to (snowy sky or normal sky) based on the season.

Once I received my first dollar bill from the Tooth Fairy, it dawned on me that that was where all money must come from. So I used to believe that the Tooth Fairy made our money. It was even further proven to me by that cursive signature at the bottom of paper money. I couldn't read yet and I thought it said "Tooth Fairy".

When I was 5 I had 2 imaginary friends named Beattie and Ghani. They lived under the stairs but would also make occasional appearances under the kitchen table. I remember that Beatie was the wiser of the 2 whilst Ghani was a bit of a rogue. Beatie would spend a lot of his time keeping Ghani in check! They would always appear together and were great friends. After a while I just declared that had gone from under the stairs. Good memories!

Did you ever read the Goosebumps books? What about the one with the man who was really a plant? Well when I was little I actually believed that my parents and all adults were really evil plants out to murder me. I think it took me about 6 months to get over it. I never read another Goosebumps book after that!
I believed that Father Christmas was a very special postman who had a very big late delivery. I therefore believed the "Santa" gifts were from Jesus as it was his birthday & he was kindly giving children presents to celebrate. (My dad was a postman at the time!)
