I was very lonely when I was little, so I used to make-believe myself a lot of friends.
I used to stare up into the sun or lightbulbs to get the colorful splotches in my eyes. I thought this was them. At first I thought they chased me around, even wearing sunglasses didn't get them away, but we became friends.
when they faded away, I was sad.
I had imaginary friends until I was about 11-12?

I believed superheroes got their powers by taking special pills, and if I asked Santa for those pills he would give them to me, too.

I had an imaginary friend named Naydeen from Arthor- the t.v. show. But I forget all about the t.v. show. I only remember the little girl in the show named her imaginary friend Naydeen so I did too. I kept on forgetting about her through out the years. Finally, I made her come back when I was around 12. I talked to her every night and had a journel about what we did together. Then some kids at school found my journel and ripped it up. They made fun of me about it all the way until I was in 8th grade. then, they stopped. But every once and a while I get teased about it...

Oh, what a cruel child I was. I told my sister of 3 that thunder was giants' feet. Yes, she was terrified, and yes, my mum did tell me off.

For as long as I've been alive my Mother has worked the night shift at Quest Diagnostics. She's a lab tech and runs blood samples from 9pm to 6am. All I knew about her job was that she worked at night and handled a lot of blood.

My Mother also has a slight allergy to vitamin D and because the sun's rays give off a great deal of vitamin D, she breaks out whenever she's in the sun too long. Effectively, she's "allergic" to the sun.

In 4th grade, I started to put these pieces together...allergic to the sun? Works at night? Handles blood samples? Obviously, my Mother was a vampire. I scared the poop out of some of my friends who were over at my house on a weekend telling them this about my Mom.

I am the youngest of 9 children and when I was 4 years old, we went to my grandparents' house for Easter Sunday, like always, where we were supposed to get our Easter baskets. Of course, the older kids knew there was no Easter Bunny, but I had no idea. When we got there, my oldest siblings took my Easter basket and hid it. When everyone went to grab their Easter baskets and mine was missing, my brother pulled me aside and explained that the Easter Bunny was a hoax--the "bunny" was actually an Easter Turtle who delivered baskets based on the age of the recipient and, being a turtle, he was too slow to deliver mine. I cried until my parents made my siblings return my basket, but they insisted all year that the Easter Bunny was a turtle. About three weeks before Easter the next year, I started mailing letters to the Easter Turtle reminding him to please send my basket with all my brothers' and sisters'. The mail man must have thought I was crazy.

When I was little, 3 or 4 my friend and I had an imaginary land where we would go to in her backyard - "BumLand". In Bumland there were the BumPolice, who gave you tickets if you didn't moon a certain tree in the yard.

One of my friends used to be scared of Santa because they were thinking, "Oh no- someone's going to break into our house!"

When I was about six, i had this necklace with a little metal wolf on it. I never wore it as a necklace, just twisted it around my wrist. I never took it off, and believed that when I was wearing it, I had a wolf called wolf (original name) and he would protect me, and could become whatever size i needed him to. One day i lost the necklace in school, and i never found it again. Wolf dissapeared forever. I couldnt make him real again. I have always thought of this as the saddestday of my life, it was like losing a best friend.

I used to have a make belief lion, unfortunetely I didn't think to name it and it disappeared. I got freaked out and looked everywhere for it but I couldn't find him. :(

I used to believe that when I sat on the Easter Bunny's lap, that I would somehow lay an egg. I was only 4 years old at the time, though.

i used to believe that there were monsters under my bed, but if i wrapped myself up in my blanket really tight they couldnt get me. because monsters cant get past an inpenetrable blanket, right.....................right

I used to believe that my blanket had super powers....like many children. But, I also believed that an evil boogey-man would come into my room at night and cut off any appendage that was sticking out from under my super blanket. My nose was the only thing that was allowed to stick out so I could breathe.

Never lost any appendages; my blanket was very powerful.
