I used to believe…

When I was younger I used to that a monster was in the guardrobe.

When I was in first grade, I got into a big argument with my classmates, who unanimously were trying to convince me that Santa Claus wasn't real. I understood by then that it was my older family members putting the presents under the tree and eating the cookies and I made that clear, but that wasn't enough for them. They were trying to convince me that St. Nicolas of Myra never existed. Ironically, this controversy took place in a Catholic school, yet the teacher refused to vouch for St. Nick's existence.

My older sister told me and my twin brother that if you didn't clap your hands during "if you're happy and you know it", you would get eaten by a monster while you sleep.

When I was little I thought that if a small abandoned factory there was the Slenderman, I was afoird to go there or to approach since I think that he could spowne at any time and kill me or kidnap me and that if I walked into that factory he might curse me whiche means he would have the ability to control and me teleport to me at any time, I also think that the more people he ate the stronger was. Some time later the factory was transformed at home and I asked my mother where Slenderman was going and she told me that he did not exist, I was relieve.

When I was little I used to believe the Easter rabbit was a chicken and he put the chocolate in the garden. And when I looked for chocolate I looked for the chicken too.When my parents tald me "The Easter rabbit was not a chicken" I cried. I was desapointed. That's how I knew it was a rabbit.

When I was child I used to be of raid of the dark because I thought there ghost there

When i was little i believed in santa claus. I thgougth he would bring us the gifts under the tree and eat the biscuits and the glass of milk because he was hungry. But one christmas evening, i went downstairs to go the toilet and i sawming mother putting the present under the tree and my father eating the cookies. Wen I was a little boy, I used to believe in Santa Claus but one day at christmas, I had reconize the shirt of my dad at trough of the Santa Claus coat. At this moment I understood hat Santa Claus was not true and after that I had a grudge against my parents because they lied to me. But finally I forgave my parents.

When I was young, I used to believe that St. Nicholas existed and really came on the 5th December during the night. I wanted to drink water but I was afraid of getting out of my bed. I finally stayed in my bed, I was still thirsty. The next day I said that to my mother and she laughed. Next she told me the truth. Thanks mom...

I used to believe…

when i was little i used to believe zombies existed and that when you dead you turned into a zombies , you turned green and you ate brains . At night as i was falling asleep , i dreamed that zombies were coming to my house to eat me and my family and when i woke up , i cried and had chills all over me . One night when i woke up crying , my parents told to me that the zombies didn't exist .

I used to believe that fairies were real and that they hid when they saw humans coming.
I would look under leaves and in flowers to find them, but I never saw even a single sparkle. :-(
In the end, I figured out that they were a made-up concept, but at least we have bumblebees, ladybugs, butterflies and dragonflies, which are honestly just as cool as fairies.

When a little girl, used to, i think he have a mermaid eating of humains un a sea. Because i head sen one documentary scarry on a mermaid .
So when i whert in the water i needed people near of me, because, said to my self that if tare mermaid had to eating someone she's chose adult humains and that. i whould have the time to run away, while they caught the others humains i cauld ascape.

When i was yuonger, i used to belive in the touth fairy.
And during the holidays in my grandmother end grandfather's house. I lost one touth, so i hid it under my cushion and the day after, i found a five euro note under my cushion but normaly that's one coin or two. So i didn't understand and the adults were laughing, i was confused.
Today when i lose a touth, i ask one coin to my parents and i can joke with the aduslts of this memory.

When I was a little girl, I was terrified to sleep and I always put my duvet even it was warm and hot because I used to believe nasty ghosts went in my room during the night and haunted me ! I was scared of this belief ! For me, ghosts arrived in my room at midnight and stayed there me. One night, I didn't put my duvet and I heard a sound. I was terrified, I thought it was the ghost so I jumped i my bed, I took a nerf to kill the ghost. But... it was just my dad.

When i was a kids, i used to believe i saw a ghost but the ghost was very strange because it was red and green. I closed my eyes and the ghost disappeared and i never saw again.
And now, i have a phobia of a ghosts because this story was very strange and scary.I still think about this story today !

When I was a kid I used to believe in the tooth fairy and I was scared of her

One day I my teeth , my dad made me believe the tooth fairy would
come that night , I was criying and VERY scared , I didn't want to sleep!!! My dad came to my room and he confessed to me it's was just the legend.
I felt better.Now I laugh when I remeber it.
