I believed that if you have Easter baskets out in the living room while you're sleeping, the Easter bunny would wiggle his nose, which made him pop in, put presents in the baskets, wiggle his nose, then he'd magically disappear.

I used to believe that if any of my body parts were hanging off the bed, the boogyman would reach out and pull me under. And if my covers were hanging off of the bed he would grab the covers pull them under and I would go under the bed with them. And to this day I still believe it. And I'm scared to walk near my bed in the dark, so I would jump on and off of my bed, when it's dark.

I used to believe I was a fairy with hidden wings and I would throw sand at people telling them it was pixie dust.

When i was 5 i used to think (after i read a monster book) this freaky monster called a bedwolf would reach out and grab me if i didn't jump into bed. Istill belive that and i kinda whisper to him like "shhh baby its ok. i wont hurt you shhh." I think killer (i named him) is hiding everywhere.
I used to run as fast as I could through the house at night when I'd get up to go to the bathroom because I thought that the zombie/mummy ducks from the Ducktales NES game were going to eat my feet!
I had a large sliding glass door in my room with aluminum tracks. When it rained, each drop would make a loud "SPACK" noise against them, and I thought there were skeletons dancing outside my window.
I used to believe that the boogeyman was (lol!) a featureless, bald, gray man pushing a shopping cart! I guess it was because when I got told about him the first time, hearing "Boogey" reminded me of "buggy" and I immediately thought of a shopping cart. Still, when someone mentions the boogeyman, I get this mental image of the gray shopping cart man XD
On top of that, I thought he hated milk. This was because my mom's mom (who was a lunch lady) had a bunch of "Drink milk, it's cool!" stickers from work. My mom told me the boogeyman HATED milk and wouldn't come out of my closet as long as she taped the doors shut with one of the milk stickers!

When I was 6, I used to believe that if I didn't get out of the bathroom before the toilet finished flushing, The"Potty Monster" Would suck me down the toilet to his world. When I turned 7 he was replaced with the "Garage Monster". (I run out the garage door well it's still opening, and if I don't get back in before it finishes opening, He'll eat me.)

because i thought there was some horrible monster underneath my bed (that was only there at night and early morning) i would catapult myself off my bed every night and morning. my mom would always get mad at me for jumping on my bed....

I used to beleive that a giant pig would come and eat me if I didn't sleep close to the wall. I was an insane 3 year old. I had the terrible threes, not twos.

when i was little my older sister convinced me that she and mom were witches. one day on the way to daycare my mom was driving and i asked her when i was going to get my witch powers. she had no clue what i was talking about... to this day i still do witchcraft....
I had an imaginary friend, and he went everywhere with me, and I talked to him every second i was awake. One day, I got in a huge fight with him, flushed him down the toilet, and that was the end. I could never replace him even if I tried, and i was mad at myself for flushing him.
I never replaced him because it was too hard, but I guess I eventually grew out of trying to find somebody else.
I used to believe that I was the only person who knew that fairy tales weren't real. I would move stuff around the house or steal random bits of nothing and bury it out back so that they'd think the Borrowers had taken it. I had imaginary imaginary friends.

Once I was round my granddads house and I was on the playstation playing spyro :D. My mum, sister, nan and granddad was in the computer room. I was curious so I wanted to go see what they was looking at. It was a picture of a kitchen and my granddad said "can you see casper floating about on that picture?" and I was thinking "no it's just a still picture". then about a minute after that a clown/ghost thing pops up and goes "BOO!" I go hysterical and nearly wet myself and start crying. this made my sister cry and then my granddad started laughing and kept saying "It's not real!". I was petrified.

The reason I was most afraid of ghosts was because I thought that if I saw one, they'd kill me for discovering their secret. So many times when I was lying in bed, worried that I'd see one I said out loud, trembling "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone if I see you by accident, I promise".

When I was little I was told that wishes rarely come true. So I thought I'd be very clever, and from then on I always wished for the opposite ("I wish I get yucky food tonight")... ironically because I knew wishing did not work.

This is my SISTERS belief but she used to thing that cougars are ghost cats and that grocery get their stock via owl. . . I think someone dropped her when she was an infant :)
I'm 20, and I've had an imaginary friend for as long as I can remember. Before I was 13, he was very nice and we got along well. Two days after I turned 14, he left for about a year and a half. When I was 15 and a half, he came back with a new name and new clothes. After that, every few weeks he'd change his name and his appearance. At that point he became horribly mean and very evil. I was very frightened of him and couldn't sleep for a while. I didn't get much done, to say the least. After several months, I got tired of being afraid and confronted my imaginary friend. The first week was the hardest and most frightening time of my life, but everything eventually calmed down. Eventually, he faded into the background of everything. He's still there, he's just always quiet and always behind me.

Being born in Alaska, when I was little I would go out and yell and the "Northern Lights" thinking that it would cause them to move around. My brother told me that if you yell at them they would come down and play baseball with your head. For years after that when the Northern Lights would come out I would run go hide in my bedroom.
