I used to believe I was an elf because I had pointy ears and everyone I met would make a big deal about it. So then when I got old enough to read on my own, I read a book about fairies. So I started not eating meat for a while and spent all of my time barefoot and outside. I even thought Tinker Bell was my sister!
Then I met this really mean girl who thought she was an elf princess because she had pointy ears too. I thought she was lying, and I asked her how she knew she was a elf. We had this big argument at school one day and we were going to have a big competition, but eventually the principle came and told us that both of us could be elves. I never did like her. To this day, I don't think I'm an elf, but I do still believe in fairies. Is that normal for a 12 year old?

I used to believe that if I didn't climb my bunk bed ladder fast enough, Bloody Mary would grab my feet and pull me under the bed and eat me.

When I was little, my grandma told me that 1:00 am was witches hour. If I wasn't asleep, the witches and ghosts would come out and 'get' me. I had a nightmare that night. I was locked in the bathroom and witches were pounding on the door (it didn't have a lock) trying to get in.

As a little girl I was always afraid of mosters and creepy crawlies, this was probably the result of my cousin allowing me to watch the horror channel.

A couple of my beliefs were dumb, yet totally acceptable in a child's perspective. One for instance, I thought that chuckie was outside my shower curtain waiting to attack me. I didn't take a shower with the curtain open for several months.

When I was nine I was scared there would be a hand reaching out to grab my feet if I didn't jump from the carpet to my bed. I still do this sometimes (out of habit.)

But the worst that I ever had to deal with were the eyes that always followed me. I'm laughing right now, but back then I swore there were people watching me, from behind my door, under the couch: everywhere. I was a mess for a good four years. Ouch!

I believed that the tooth fairy was an owl, because i always seemed to find feathers near my bed when i lost my tooth. I think they were probably coming out of my feather quilt, but i stil don't know why they only came out when i lost my tooth.

everynight when i went to sleep as a kid i would go totally under the covers; even when it was very hot during the summer. I only let myself room to breeth through a small opening in the sheet. I believed that when any bodypart of me would stick out from onder the covers the monsterst would come and get me.

I used to believe that bad people/monsters would me into a baby factory and after my fabulous 5 years of life, I'd have to start it over, because I'd be turned into a baby...I was a weird child.

i was a rather gullible child, and my older sister was always taking advantage of this. once, she managed to convince me that i was a human alien hybrid (we watched a lot of x-files), and that our mother and father weren't my real parent's. she even mixed up a concoction of food coloring and put it in a vial and told me it was a sample of my blood. i cried for days.

when i was little, i was convinced that God and Santa were best friends and shared information with each other. i know now that santa doesnt exist, and im agonistic

I remember when I was at my friends house a couple months ago, she had this porcelin[sp?] doll on top of a china cabinet. We were sleeping in the base ment, but, there were too many people there so me and 2 or 3 other girls had to go upstairs, where the doll was. And when we went to go raid the kitchen at like 2 am, we looked at the doll and noticed that the doll's head and eyes seemed like they were following us before. We were SOO creeped out!! Unfortunately, we had to deal with it and go to bed on the couch across from the cabinet. We still don't know if it was really following us or not, but, it still creeps me, at least, out.

When I was about 8, when I woke up on Easter morning i ran to the living room and looked out the window, my sister was out there with a bag full of eggs @_@
I screamed at her, shouting that she couldn't take any eggs until we both started the hunt, and my sister then came in the house and said that the easter bunny wasn't real. I burst into tears and shouted that the bunny was real, then my mum took me into my dads room and he told me the truth about santa, easter bunny, tooth fairy, etc.
That ruined my day.

When I was nine, my older brother told me that there was a leprechan in the mouse hole in my room. The leprechan supposely would come out every St. Patrick's Day to try and take me away. So I stuffed the hole with reese's buttercup wrappers.

Problem solved.
