I used to believe…

hi. i'm 12 and i imagine that my yard, (which is very forest-like) is a preserve for fairies. my parents are the caretakers. (but they really don't know it) one day, i planted a little garden of my own in the back. it is now the home of the fairy queen. she was so greatful that she gave me a kiss on the forehead which gave me the power to talk to the fairies in their language. though to me, it sounds like english. i don't know most of the fairies, but a few have spoken to me. i have a small stack of papers with drawings of the fairies i have met. someday there'll be a BUNCH of pictures in there.
whenever there's sick or hurt fairies, i nurse them back to health.

well, i have to go and check the preserve, so i have to stop writing.

— The Daughter of the Caretakersmake-believe : imaginary friends

I used to have an imaginary friend called Bob, who lived in my Nan's bathroom cupboard. He used to talk to me when I went to the toliet. He had red hair, and was originally from Scotland, however moved to London for work. Its strange I knew this as I didnt know what Scottland was when I was that age (3)

I'm 12 right now and I'm gonna be 13 in november, I have alot of friends but I still need someone to talk to and to tell me right and wrong and make me laugh. His name is Jasper and he's like casper but he's really cute and he has a crush on me. he's 12 2 and I even do his voice when I talk to him. Cause I can talk like a guy.

i used to think that there was a goblin under my bed. he had green tinted skin, red narrow eyes, and tiny brown hairs on his head. i thought that when i let my feet hung over the edge of my bed, he would slowly eat them. i also thought my bug bites were from him too (i used 2 get a lot of bug bites on my legs and feet). i would leap onto my bed to avoid walking past the space between the bed and the floor (wich is where the goblin lived). the goblin slowly vanished from my mind as i got more mature. i am 12 now, and i stopped believing in the goblin when i was ten.

On one of my college breaks I went to go visit my half sisters. the oldest one was 5 at the time. we were hanging out in the front yard, when all of a sudden she looks up and screams "THE WICKED WITCH IS COMING!!!!"

I looked up into the sky where she was pointing but saw nothing out of the ordinary. I asked her how she knew the wicked witch was coming and she said because of the lines her broom leaves in the sky. she was pointing up at the exhaust lines left behind by an airplane, and went on to say how daddy told her all about it.

I used to believe that my grandpa was the real Santa. Every year at my dad's company Christmas party he would dress up as Santa, and every year on Christmas Eve we would go look at Christmas lights and then when we returned home we would catch him in the house putting our toys out. He would walk out the sliding glass door and tell us he'd be back later, he had to deliver the rest of the toys to the other kids. He'd be gone for hours..
