I believed that public parks closed at dusk because werewolves slept under the dirt during the day, but awoke and came out at night. I figured they were trapped within the area of the park, though, so sometimes when I was near one at night, walking with my folks or riding in a car, I thought little taunts to them. Then I realized that if I ever accidentally was in a park at night, they'd be mad about the taunting, so I began to apologize, but I had to do it out loud or else they'd think it wasn't sincere. I told people I was saying sorry to the land because it couldn't be a forest.

There were Ghosts in my basement so if I had to go down there at night for some ghastly reason I would sing the Ghostbusters theme song at the top of my lungs because I figured would scare them away long enough to do whatever errand I had to do down there before running back up the stairs.

When I was little, I was terrified of the Phantom of the Opera, because I'd hear advertisements for it on the radio, and the music scared me, and I knew a phantom was a ghost. I always thought that when I was in my room alone the Phantom would come and get me.

Now... I'm a HUGE phan.

When I was little I would look out the window at night and see fireflies. I used to believe they were fairies. I know it's lame, but I still believe in fairies.

my friends and i were at a party and i said lets do bloody marry! me and my friend emma both did it and no one else because they chickened out. we never believed this because we thouight it was fake. so we went to the bathroom, locked the door and windows, then turned off the lights. We said bloody mary three times, and all that happened was the lights flickered. so we went to bed with the rest of the girls. but early that morning, we all woke up to emma screaming, we walked over and her neck and hands were bloody. thank god she was still alive. i walked her to the bathroom to wash of the blood, but in the mirror there was a flashing image of bloody mary, and written in blood on the mirror was, You chanted my name, so you paid the price, be thankful i havnt killed you yet. we all thought it was emma but she swore it wasnt her. two years passed and on that same date, emma disapeared. we found her the following week murdered in the park's bathroom, with that same writing from bloody marry, the night of the sleepover.

I was afraid to sleep alone or close to a window when I was little because I thought aliens would reach into the window and abduct me. I was especially scared that this may have already happened because you can't remember alien abductions. I also thought I may have been an alien baby that was put into my mom and she didn't know about it. I thought maybe they would want to take me back. I watched a lot of unsolved mysteries and stuff like that.

Between the ages of 3 and 5, I had a lot of imaginary friends. One of them was named Tina and she sat with me on the bus to preschool. A real kid wanted to sit next to me
and i told her she couldn't because Tina was sitting there, so when she pretended to pick her up and throw her to the front of the bus I cried.

As a child, my family traveled around the country a lot. I would look out the window and imagine someone (sometimes it was a man, and sometimes it was my imaginary friend Bridget) running alongside our car on the edge of the road, playing as if the ground was lava. The person would jump from light posts to trees and walk across telephone wires like a circus performer--all the while keeping up with the car. Sometimes, if there wasn't anything for him to stand on, he'd ride on top of our car for a while. When I'm on long or boring car trips, I still imagine this sometimes.

I'm slightly nuts, only slightly nuts because I'm sane enough to know I'm nuts but still crazy enough to have an imaginary boyfriend (I'm 12) his name is Jesse and I actually know a real Jesse who I really like but haven't seen in ages so now I have fake Jesse to keep me company, except he's slighly meaner than real Jesse and likes to make me cry which doesn't look so good when I'm sitting in the middle of my geography class and I suddenly burst into tears, (yes that really happened, damn he got me in my weak spot, I was already bored to tears just for the fact that it was geography) yes I know I'm probably mentally distrurbed whatever I don't care I'm a weird kid, as fake Jesse so often tells me...

When I was small, my parents were watching a movie. I was not yet tired and wanted to watch too. When I asked what the movie was about, my mom told me it was about a monster that eats your feet.
From that night on I was afraid to stand next to my bed in the dark, because I thought the monster would come from underneath it and eat my feet.

When I was turning 9 I saw this movie called boogie man and it was about this thing with sharp nails that lives under your bed and takes everything thats under it! So I started to believe that it was real so from then on i started to hardly go in my room when I was getting ready for bed and i NEVER put my hand or leg under the bed again.
