when my sister and i were little, we would go to stores like home depot. well stores like that had concrete floors, and there were always stains and spots all over them, so we thought that ghosts left them, so we would follow them and go ghost hunting.....we used to call it "following the clues"

When I was 5-6, I had two imaginary friends that I adored named Rufus and Tanya. I remember that Rufus was a green and blue dog and that Tanya didn't have a leg (I later gave her an auto-mail, which I called at the time, a "shiny leg") We had a lot of fun times...
However, my family wasn't too happy about my imaginary friends. One morning, my mom decided she had had enough with Rufus and Tanya and told me that they had packed their bags and left early that morning. Being so young, I believed my mom and I was heartbroken. I waited at the stoop for days seeing if they'd come back home, but they sadly didn't.
I'm now 21 and seven months pregnant with a girl. When my daughter gets to the age where she has imaginary friends, I won't do what my mom did about my imaginary friends. Well, I'll TRY, lol.
I used to think Santa Claus watched us through the VCR. I couldn't believe he just KNEW if I was bad and just KNEW what I wanted... he had to have a way to be in our house. So if I did something wrong, I made sure it was not in the living room- away from the VCR.

My little sister, who's like twelve years younger than me, had THE best imaginary friend ever. His name was simply "boy", he lived in the cupboard with her nappies and he could fly and change sizes...you could ask her any question about "boy" and she would answer it.

When I was about 5 or 6, I remember playing school. Only, I would only play it on the toilet. I guess to keep myself occupied?
Anyway, I had about 10 students, and for some reason or another, they were all dogs. I only remember two distinctly, one was a spotted bull dog named Butch, who was the bully. The other was a black boxer named Roxy, and she was the popular girl.

When my friend and I were in 3rd grade we believed in leprchauns, and started our own leprechaun club, We made leprechaun stew and left it in a hole until the next recess, and it had magically disappeared! We even looked in the grass and "found" the letters T, Y, K, and M: T being thank, Y being you, K being the first letter of my name, and M being the first letter of my friends name. The best part is that we got the whole school looking for leprechauns. We still laugh to this day.

When I was around the age of six, I got my ears pierced. One of them got very infected, and I had to let it heal over; there was a lump of skin growing over the back of the stud. Months later, it had healed, except for a lump of scar tissue... that lump was my imaginary friend. Its name was Stacy, and she would tell me what was going on behind me.
I cried when Stacy dissapeared.
I was a confused child.
I was terrified of christmas, the very THOUGHT of a big scary fat old guy coming into our house at night horrified me!
I always double-checked that all the doors were locked on Christmas, and I was shocked my parents would let strangers come into our house!!!

When I was younger, I used to talk to my shadow. I named her Trinity and always played tag with her. I also sat on my swing set and complained that she always went higher than me. I was weird. Sometimes, when I was on the swings, I would close my eyes and imagine that i was flying above the clouds and eventually I would meet Jesus and go to ice cream world.
Pathetic, I Know.
