I was 17 years old when I realized that the guy that mommy was kissing in that famous song was actually daddy dressed up as Santa Claus. I just thought mommy was a tramp.

I used to have an imaginary friend named George. He was 25, handsome, and tall. My parents for the longest time thought that I was being visited by some guy every night. He and I did everything together, until he "supposedly" got into a car accident and broke a leg and arm. He for some reason never recovered, got married, left me, and died. This was one of the saddest times of my life.

When I was little, I had an imaginary friend named 'Steve'. Steve died when my dad sat on him at a family gathering.

I used(and still do, a little bit) to belive that if you closed your eyes that tons and tons of faries ,like Tinkerbell from Peter Pan, would surround you and you could feel there little wings brush and tingle your arms untill you opened your eyes and they dissapear.

When I was in grade school, somewhere between 2nd and 4th grade, my class discovered the story of Bloody Mary. For those who don't know, it's a story about a girl who stould in front of a mirror at midnight on Halloween and said "Bloody Mary" over and over again until a bloody face appeared and smashed the mirror and choked the girl. As the story goes, if you stand in front of any mirror in any bathroom with all the llights off and the door closed, bloody mary's face will appear and she may try to escape from the mirror. So, I, fearless girl that I was, attempted this in the girl's bathroom at my Catholic School. Nobody would stay to witness this, but I did it anyway. I was a bit disappointed when nothing happened, so I told everyone that, of course Bloody Mary showed up, and I told her that she better leave us alone or else. Everyone believed me, and I continued to tell my classmates about my converstations with "Bloody Mary."

I used to love to play Playstation. We used to have a Playstation 1 before. I used to believe that for the game to work, when you put in the CD and close the lid, little fairies will appear and sprinkle pixie dust on the CD so that it'll work and appear on the TV screen. I wanted to see these fairies so sometimes, I would put in a CD, turn on the playstation, wait around 2 minutes, then while the playstation is on I would open the lid to see the fairies, but of course, there weren't any. I thought they would hide so fast somewhere in the playstation.

When I was 5, I had an imaginary friend called Georgina. I believed she lived inside my locket necklace. I used to cycle around the streets talking to her loudly, I remember saying "Come on Georgina, we need to go and find my new imaginary friend to live with you!" Then I ran about the street wildly, saying "Georgie! Come back! You need to go home to my locket now!" and then shut my locket and sighed because she had gone "home".

When the first Harry Potter movie came out I had no idea it was made up. One day my friends and I took some old broomsticks, mounted them, and jumped. Unfortunately we landed back on the ground one second later. That was the end of my Quidditch streak.

I was very young when I had an obsession with Power Rangers. One day, I watched the movie. The following night, I lay awake in the belief that The Ooze was going to come underneath the crack under the door (I always had my door closed) and kill me.

It was right after I had watched Jurassic Park. I was a little kid back then and it terrified me... Even though I had a great love of Dinosaurs. When I was in bed at night and I heard a noise outside my room, I swore that a Velociraptor was coming up the stairs to eat me. Because they could obviously open doors in that movie. =D

Everyone remembers going to the mall and sitting on Santa's lap to take a picture at Christmas time right?

Well I used to think that if I did that Santa would get mad because he had to go all around the world and let every kid around the world have a chance to take a picture and of course his lap would hurt and he would be so tired. I thought he would keep a copy of the picture and that's how he decided who would be on his naughty list.

Let's just say my mom couldn't get me onto Santa's lap until she made him promise I wouldn't end up on his naughty list.

My older sister loved to torment me when I was little. One day she told me she had a secret to tell me and I was extatic. So I went with her into the bathroom and she turned the lights off and said if you look into the mirror with the lights off and say 'Bloody mary.' Three times in a row she will come. I thought that bloody mary would just start killing everyone in the world and it scared me. So of course my sister used this to her advantage and tried to get me to do things for her and everytime I said no she would run into the bathroom turn off the lights stare at the mirror and start saying 'Bloody mary, bloody mary..' Before she could finish saying it the second time I would either be crying and agreeing to do it or practically jumping on her and agreeing to do it.

We're catholics and we don't believe in Santa. I told my 4 yr old cousin that Santa's baby Jesus' mailman. That because he's a newborn He can't carry the huge presents so he sends them with the big fat guy. we live in the Caribbean so it's kinda hard to believe a guy with a sleigh and reindeers can fly without melting from the heat.

When my brother was only two or three, he was sitting in his carseat, shouting out spells from Harry Potter and waving a stick. Every time he did this, my dad would secretly turn on the windshield wipers. He thought that he was a wizard for about five minutes until I told him otherwise.

When I was young I watched a movie about a mummy that (of course) came to life and attacked people. There was a scene where some innocent was passing a doorway and the mummy surprised the passerby and attacked. I was a very big kid when I finally overcame the fear of being attacked by a mummy everytime I passed a darkened room.
