When I was around 5 I was conviced I seen the ghost of Saint Nick peeking around the corner of my bedroom door. I never forgot that image. I became so terrifed that my mother had to eventially tell me there was no Santa.

When I was little, I believed in Santa (of course). We used to put out milk and cookies and they would be gone in the morning so, naturally, I thought he was real. Until one Christmas Eve when I was nosy snoping for presents for me and I saw a gift to one of my sisters from Santa Claus. My parents tried to tell me Santa came early because he had soo many children to get to.

Finally, I used to believe in all the usual things that kids are told in school about Santa, The Easter Bunny, etc, until I was sadly disillusioned at the age of eight when someone told me that Santa was really my headteacher at my primary school! God love him! So...so much for childhood beliefs. I'm a grown up now- nearly thirty six years of age but I still remember my childhood years with fondness and not a little nostalgia for a time when I was new to a world that seemed so full of mystery, wonder and endless possibilities!

Wen I was a little boy, I used to believe in Santa Claus but one day at christmas, I had reconize the shirt of my dad at trough of the Santa Claus coat. At this moment I understood hat Santa Claus was not true and after that I had a grudge against my parents because they lied to me. But finally I forgave my parents.

One year, I wrote a letter to Santa Claus and left it on the fireplace with the cookies and milk on Christmas Eve. It was, of course, gone in the morning... Years later, I was looking for a flashlight in my mom's dresser and came across the note. Shocking? You bet.

As many others, I believed in Santa. One day in the car, I started crying, because I was thinking about a monster. My mom said, "Don't worry, the monster isn't real--just like Santa" Which, of course, just made me cry more.

I believed in Santa Claus until I was 7. Then I seen a card at Zellers that said Top Ten Reasons To Be Jewish. Number one was 'SANTA ISN'T REAL"

When I was a little girl,
I believe Santa existed.
I thought he arrived by fireplace,
and give gifts to children on
of 24 december, at night.
My mum would say not exist when I was six years.

I used to believe that Santa Claus really existed until I was 11 years old(so embarassing)! No wonder, when I asked for an expensive toy, my parents told me Santa doesn't give really expensive toys.

umhhh...still remember when i was young, i used to beileve in santa claus...every christmas eve, i will countlessly remind my mum and dad to wake me up before dawn or when santa comes, with the hope that i'll get to see santa...but well haha my parents will just reply me the next morning that santa had come and go while i was asleep...even giving me a peck on my cheek before he went...well as expected of all children, i continued asking my parents when did santa come?, why didn't u people wake me up?, what did he do at our house etc.... In the end, I found out that the so called "SANTA" in my innocent mind then...haha was actually my dearest mum and dad!

I once convinced myself that nobody knew for sure whether or not Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, or the Tooth Fairy were real(because I assumed every belief was unknon for sure). When I figured out there was no Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, or Tooth Fairy(which was because I heard my sister say that one of her classmates didn't believe in the tooth fairy, she thought it was just your parents sneaking up on you), I convinced myself, "Is there a Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, or Tooth Fairy? Nobody knows for sure. Some people believe there is one, others say it is your parents sneaking up on you and that the letters are written by volunteers at the post office and the emails by people who created websites. But if it is your parents sneaking up on you and this is where the letters and emails come from, the parents can't see themselves doing it and don't know that they're doing it. And the toy sellers and manufacturers can't see themselves issuing presents to Santa and the Easter Bunny(sometimes the Tooth Fairy did give presents rather than money).

i used to believe when i was four that santa was actually anevil demon sent by the devil to bribe little kids into liking him and then take them away forever and make them work for him in his toy shop....of course, i learned that that wasn't real when i told my mom that story and she told me that santa was a kind and jolly man that gave out presents to boys and girls to reward them for their good behaviour.

I used to believe that January the 5th the three kings that gave presents to Jesus would bring me presents too, if i had been a good girl. If not, they would bring me coal. After seven years, I found out that they were my parents who brought me the presents.
