I use to believe that when I was sleeping at Christmas eve, Santa would come to my house and let some presents. And I stayed all night over waiting him until I could sleep.

my parents would say and i used to believe that santa claus really would put salt in your eyes if he caught you peeking. so every christmas eve i would tuck myself way under the covers like it was a tent and i'd sweat till morning came and i could go see what i got. i was real disappointed when i found out the truth about santa at age 12.

My parents took advantage of me and my siblings as children for our ignorance. My mom would hide the Christmas tree in the garage, and then not park the cars in there until Christmas Eve. Then she would put a chair in front of the door every day so none of us would go in there. As for our presents, we didn't seem to notice the huge lumpy things draped in bedsheets on the laundry room table.

My sisters told me that there was an evil man called "Mr. Bad Guy," who was the antithesis of Santa Claus. They would tell me, "Megan! We just saw Mr. Bad Guy outside. He was in a sleigh, but one of the reindeer was missing. In the spot of the missing reindeer, there was a sign that said," and at this point they acted very confused, "'Reserved for Megan'!"

When I was little, about 5 years old, I believed in Santa and his reindeer. Then, on that same christmas, my dad told me that he saw Rudolph and the other reindeer on the roof, and he gave them carrots. I am 11 now and now I know that Santa, Rudolph, and the reindeer don't exist.

One day my older cousins told me Santa was racist because he never visited the home of any little black kids in the books and movies. So I didn't like him and didn't want him in our house.

My sisters and I never believed in Santa Claus because when I was around seven, our father said that Santa was in the freezer with the Easter Bunny. We never could find them though.

I once believed in the magic of Santa Clause. The magic of the Easter Bunny, and even the magic of the Tooth Fairy, even though i found her to be cheap at times. Until some friend at school told me they weren`t real. But you know what, i still believe in the magic of the imagination and the playfulness of a child.

I believed in Santa Claus with my whole heart as a little girl. Then my stepbrother told me that some man shot and killed him. This hurt me so badly that I never tried to make my own daughters believe in Santa Claus or any other of the make believe characters so many adults teach their own children. I determined my girls would not be hurt as I was. At the same time, I would instruct them to never tell the other children there was no Santa Claus.

When I was 4 years old, I used to believe in Santa Claus, and I had to sleep early because Santa Claus didn't leave toys, if sombody in the family was awake. For that reason on Christmas Eve, we went to sleep very early,.because we liked to get toys.

my little sister used 2 be frightened of father christmas when she was little- LOL!!!!
coz she thought that it was scary that he could climb into anyone's house whenever he felt like it. She didn't want to get on his bad side so whenever she wrote the letter to him- you know, saying what presents she wanted- she was really sucking up, all "thankyou so so much for last year's presents, i love them very very much they're so lovely... please could i have w and x and y, and is you think ive been really really good could i please have z. But you don't have to get me all of those things if i've not been good enough. Thankyou so so so much xxxxxxxxxxxxx."
Incredibly sick-making stuff.

I am 14 and I still believe in Santa Clause. Once when I was 7 years old he came to our house on Christmas Eve. He knocked on the door and gave me and my brother a teddy bear each, and reminded us to be in bed when we were told to get into our beds. That was an awesome Christmas.
