That if you looked in a mirror at midnight and said bloody mary like 3 times or something "bloody mary" would then appear. Never worked...thank god!

When I was 5 or 7 years old my brother and sister told me about bloody mary. They made me go in the bathroom, how we did it was we helded hands, turned off the lights, say "bloody mary tell us your story " and spin around and keep glancing at the mirror until she appeared. After 5 or so I saw blood run down the mirror and then a old lady in a rocking chair sitting starring at us then blood ran down the mirror again, then a mans pictured appeared in the mirror. I turned on the lights and ran downstairs it still haunts me today and I can't stand being in that bathroom with the lights out for more than 5 seconds. Don't ever try this!!!! She will haunt you someway.

When I was little someone told me that if you spun around 3 times in the bathroom when the lights were out and said ''Bloody Mary,Bloody Mary,Bloody Mary'' she would appear in the mirror. And would haunt you when ever you went into the bathroom to go #1 or #2. So I would never go into the bathroom when the lights were off in fear of my brother coming in and saying ''BLOODY MARY BLOODY MARY BLOODY MARY!''

when i was 5 yrs old i believed that if i would go to the bathroom at 12 midnight and chant 'bloody mary' three times with your eyes closed a very gruesome bloody lady would come out of the bathroom mirror and talk to you.I was so spooked that i would hardly look into ANY mirror in the night.and i normally would have to control my ' nature call' till d morning.

When the movie "Candyman" came out, a scary horror movie about a man with a hook called form the dead to kill people, he was called through a mirror in a dark room, Just like 'Bloody Mary'. After seeing that movie, I was afraid to look into a mirror in a dark room. To this day I find myself avoiding my own reflection in darkness.

I used to believe in bloody mary. My friends were older than me, and some believe in bloody mary also. WE thought that if you went into the bathroom and did the bloody mary chant (about the baby and stuff) she would come and get you. So when I was younger than first grade, If I took a shower or something, I would leave the door partially open incase bloody mary came. Monsters never scared me, just bloody mary and freddie kregur(spelling aiight??)

I thought that "Bloody Mary" would kill me if I slept with any mirrors facing my bed. I was scared to death of her.. and mirrors..until I was in high school. Even then, and even now.. 10 years after high school..I dont like sleeping with mirrors in my bedroom.

I used to believe in Bloody Mary, the ghost that you call in the dark in front of a mirror in your bathroom late at night. One day my brother came in the bathroom and put on the light, I got scared and never called Mary again. Now I still don't want to stay in the dark in my bathroom!

in infant school my friends told me that there was a ghost in the girls toilets . Her name was bloody Mary , and she was there to scare you when you where on the toilet. Also they told me that if you turned all the taps on and shout her name three times that her face would appear in the mirror. From then on i was always to scared to go to the toiltes by myself.

I saw the Skeleton Key in theatres, and now I absolutely cannot look into mirrors at night, or by myself in a bathroom. Me and my siblings used to do light shows in an unlit bathroom with flashlights and colored cling wrap for fun, and now I can't do it anymore, for fear of "Bloody Mary". You're supposed to grow out of these fears, but I guess I grew into them.

When I was a kid one of the other girls in the neighborhood said that if you went into the bathroom with the lights off at midnight and turned around three times, you would see the ghost of "Bloody Mary" in the mirror. One of the other girls said that she had tried it, and it worked. I was so freaked out that I haven't been able to go into a dark bathroom since. I don't believe the "Bloody Mary" part anymore, though.

When I heard the "Bloody Mary" ghost story as a child -- if you stand in a dark room and chant "Bloody Mary" three times, a wicked old hag will appear in the mirror and come out and kill you -- I was terrified of looking into mirrors in the darkness. I still avoid looking into the bathroom mirror until I can turn the light on...mirrors give me the creeps, and watching Poltergeist 3 when I was in my teens (the ghosts in the movie are haunting a posh apartment building where the hallways, elevators, etc have wall-to-wall mirrors, and they walked in and out of them) didn't help much, either...

when i was about 7 my cousin (who is 4 months older than me) decided to read me the story about bloody mary. I totally freaked out because she said she knew someone who had tried it. I still have issues sleeping in front of a mirror or going to the bathroom around midnight.

I used to think that when you flushed a toilet, that bloody mary would come out of the mirror so i would run out of the room very fast when i flushed the toilet

When I was younger I used to believe that if you went into a room with a mirror at midnight, stared in the mirror, and said "I do believe in Bloody Mary" three times, Bloody Mary would appear in the mirror and then reach out to try and grab or kill you.
For years I thought it was true, but now realize it's just a superstition, although I probably won't do it(Just incase, haha).

im pretty sure everyone has heard the Bloody Marry story..

when i was 10 i went to my first ever "sleep away" camp where u actually stay there for a week or two.. the first night they jumped right in on scary stories but their version was "the girl with long blonde hair"...

in the story the girl with long blonde hair was trapped in the bathroom and if u were there alone she would kill u and make u take her spot..

she came out of the mirrors or toilets..

lets just say i only used to bathrooms in case of emergency and only took like 2 showers...i even ran out of there screaming cuz i thought i hear her calling my name
