When i was Younger, i was very very scared of death. I slept in an attic room and beside my bed was this awful 80s chrone and faux leather chair..as i was tucked in every night i would lie looking at the shiny chrome leg of the chair..and somehow in it i used to see a black figure in my door way.. which i fully belived was Death watching me. it took me a year to realise this wasnt infact the spectre of Death, but the reflection of the black leather seat above.

My mother used to tell me that the cemetery was called the "Quiet Park." For many years I thought that ghosts played in cemeteries, but were very quiet about it.

Throughout elementary school I was convinced that there was a ghost that lived in the girls bathroom. My so called friends told me that they had seen it and it threatened them with a knife. Naturally I was scared to death whenever I had to pee and got outta there as soon as possible.

We also used to believe that this drain type thing with little holes in it was full of eyeballs. We spent our recesses staring down the little holes trying to see if there was an eyeball looking back at us. We were demented little children. Haha!

I once believed that there were ghosts in computers, TV's, and mirrors. I desperately tried to stay away from them as much as I could. I saw a fake picture of a "ghost-hand" coming out of a TV and it scared me silly! I think I still have that fear somewhere in my subconcious that a ghost is going to grab me and pull me into the TV.

One night when I was about 5yrs old, my grandpa said look out the window theres a ghost. My cousin and I looked and a spoon was dangling and shaking near the window in the darkness. The next morning my grandpa said that my cousin had found the spoon. A couple years later I relised that it was only grandpa who had a peice of fishing wire conected to the spoon through the window shaking it.

I used to believe that there were ghosts watching me when I slept. I would always stare into the shadows and imagine there was a person standing there. I was completely freaked out by the thought and hid under the covers. I also used to believe that when a relative/pet died they would appear over my head for a final farewell.

For many years i believed that my room was filled with ghosts and they would watch me at night. Every night before going to sleep i would check beneath my bed and in my closet. I would then sleep with the blankets pulled over my head. One night i was even convinced that there was a skeleton standing against the wall and i layed in bed trying to stay as still as possible so he wouldn't kill me until morning when i realized it was just a sweater.

I used to believe that there were ghosts everywhere. My friend and i used to run around for hours spotting ghosts. One day we were convinced that a dent in the blinds on a window in her living room was the result of a ghost snake resting there. We also made friends with a skeleton that lived below her staircase. I was finally convinced that ghosts aren't real.

When I was about ten, there was this wierd Big TV screen at the mall. It was about the size of a human. When people walked across it, i thought that it was like a mirror that showed the ghosts in the mall, since it showed the same place that you would stand but it had actors walking across it. I refused to go into the mall for about two years.

When I was 11 or so, a friend and I decided to have a seance. We drew the board, found a suitable glass, and sat down at the dining room in my house. Half way through it, the glass broke (crystal - my mom was really mad...). We called another friend, who was the school expert on all spiritual things, and she said that when the glass breaks it means the spirit is free in your house and doesn't want to leave. I was horrified.

It took me a few years before I was able to go in the dining room when I was home alone...

When I was quite young, maybe 3 or 4, I believed that there was a ghost in our house. I'd ask him to do all sorts of things for me, like to bring me the gumballs from the counter, or help me fly around the house. He didn't ever help me out, but since I was SURE he existed, I assumed he was just very stubborn. I would get very angry with him, and yell into thin air each time he didn't do what I asked him to, which was very often.

when was small, i thought ghosts were everywhere so i would yell in every room, "Hey you ghosts, go away!"
I yelled that in a craft store and everyone in the store as terrified.
The next week, the store closed down. i think it was because of me!!
