i used to believe there were ghost behind my bed so my mom got (ghost spray) it was really a spray that cleans carpets and she used to spray it behind my bed and i fell a sleep
My aunt tould me ghosts lived in her house. The house is old but nice looking. Like even if the air conditioner wasn't on, you could feel a cold rush on you. She told me the ghosts came, went away, & came back. My uncle said you could
hear someone walking in dining room but if you
look over there, there is nothing there.
I was conviced from about 8-12 years old that my bedroom was haunted so I would sleep in the living room on the couch. I swear everytime I tried to sleep in my bedroom a ghost would be floating inches from my face.
I *have* seen ghosts. I'm not lying. But when I was two, I saw the shadow of my cat (who has...spiky hair). I thought it was a ghost, and I thought I had to make the ghost happy. So I got a piece of lunch meat, a pillow, and even tried to make a bed for it out of Tinkertoys.
Imagine my suprise when I saw the cat sleeping on the pillow in the morning. xP
When I was little my grandparents told me that there was an old man, "Mr. Brown, who lived in our house and he drowned in the bathtub upstairs. After they told me that, I was horrified of that bathroom and avoided it whenever I could, and used the one downstairs.
I used to believe that when i heard big thuds on my wall it was ghosts, but it turned out that it was just my parents.
When I was little, I used to think that if a ghost passed through you, you would become one. So one day I was in my basement (which is infected with ghosts) and I got the most horrible chill I've ever felt! Thinking I was now a ghost, I tried to walk through the basement door without opening it and smacked into it hard and got a huge bump on my forehead for it. >_<
when I was young, about from when I was 3 up until I was about 11 at the latest, I used to see black shadows running down my stairs, I swear it looked real.... I used to chase after them but they seemed to dissapear halfway down.
When I was a kid, my mum said that bad kids were taken by a ghost and will never give them back if they will never change they’re attitudes.
So I have these porcelain dolls that are always passed to the oldest daughter. When I was younger I always thought that they would come and kill me. These dolls had eyes that could blink and they were as tall as a normal 5-6 year old. That's what really creeped me out. When I would go to sleep I had to make sure all the doors in my bedroom were shut and all the lights in my room were on. Sometimes I would stay up really late and watch for a door to open. Sometimes floors would creek and the doors would be cracked open even though they we're enclosed before bed. Sometimes even the windows would be open the next morning. I also believed that if I didn't treat all my dolls with respect that they would kill me in my sleep. I would kiss and hug them all before I went to bed. In the mornings I would try and share my breakfast with them. I would try to feed them real food. I would tuck them in at night and treat them like a human being. I felt like if I didn't treat them right they would hurt me or attack me in my sleep. I'm 12 now and sometimes I still am paranoid but then again I do have ocd and anxiety so that might something to do with it.
I used to believe that if i went to bed with dirty feet, that ghosts would come get and take me to the devil and i would never see my family again.
i used to believe that when you drove by a cemetary you should hold your breath and the ghosts wouldnt pocess you.
When i was first introduced to Casper the Friendly Ghost i immediately figured that surely there must be unfriendly ghosts and they would fly through my walls at night and try to harm me. I'd pleaded with my mom to stay with me until i fell asleep.
Once when i was 4 or 5 i saw a ghost walk down the hall and he looked straight at me and since then I'v thought ghost were real and that still freaks me out now.HOLY CRUD!!! I'm not kidding my mom seen him too.
When I was young my Grandmother helped out at...I think it was some kind of charity...called the silver chain. One night, I was waiting in a car with my older sister and I asked what the Silver Chain was. She told me it was this severed hand wrapped in a chain that crawled onto the top of your car and scratched through the roof, then it strangled you. Scared the CRAP out of me.
from the age of 3-7 i thought that the midnight ghost would come and scare you if you didnt go to bed by midnight, except on new years eve.At my frist sleepover (age 7) i told my friends and we stayed up to midnight to see the ghost, when no ghost showed up i didnt believe it anymore.sometimes i think another expection is sleepovers.
when i was little i used to think that (ghosts) would watch everything you do so when i was in the bathroom they would be watching me and when i went to take a shower they would still be watchin me so thats why i used to take a shower real quick and jump out and change untell i got to the age of 7 but some how i still think that the afterlife is alwase next to you watchin every thing you do ...pretty dumb huh
When I was little I thought that the " coco " was under my bed and to protect me I covered myself with the sheets. and I thought if he saw me he would take me with him *The coco is the mexican boogeyman :'(
In my house, you could open certain doors quickly and other doors elsewhere would close. The same thing would happen when the heat pump came on. Also, if you stepped on the pedals of my piano, some of the keys would ever-so-slightly move on their own.
My best friend and I NEEDED to get his tag-along little brother to leave us alone, so we set everything up carefully, and with a few automatically closing doors and piano keys that moved on their own, Nicky was convinced my house was haunted.
And when we played over at THEIR house? I came over with a ceramic pot and we told Nicky it had the ghost in it.
He never bothered us much.
last year my friend told me she'd seen 2 ghosts. i wanted to have a ghost friend too so I made one up. Then we started pretending my ghost (Kitty) was stuck in a tree and I had to go up and get her. Well I climbed up it and fell down and broke my leg in two places! I know you're thinking "ok and the point to this story is..." i had to tell the doctor about why I was climbing the tree in the first place, and Kitty became really real to me!
