When I was younger I used to watch scary movies before I went to slep. I watched Chucky . And that night my" kid sister" doll looked exactly like Chucky so I got scared I threw her in the closet and closed the door. Then I realized that would probally make her mad!!! so I sayed up all night looking at the closet waiting for her to come out and kill me.
I don't know why but I used to think that people on TV could hear you and see you when you watch TV. So whenever I was watching a TV show with people trying to kill each other, I would say "Run!!"...
I used to believe that Sesame Street was at the end of the lane that went through the small woodland behind my house. Every time I'd watch the show and then when it was over, I'd rush out and try to 'get in' to Sesame Street, but it was never there. I remember reasoning with myself that it must only be there when the Show started, and I never got there because I didn't wan't to miss the programme! Good grief :-)

At one stage, between knowing that the people on tv were actors and truely understanding what acting meant, I believed that actors that got married on screen were really married and had to get a divorce after filming was over. I also believed that when an actor was killed on screen, he was really killed and that his family would get paid lots of money for this. I assumed that the actor would be terminally ill and going to die anyway, so at least his family would benefit.

My nan told me that the actor who played E.T. had died shortly after filming finished, because he'd had his neck stretched so much during filming. When I eventually found out this wasn't true I didn't dare tell my nan for fear of upsetting her.

My dad told me he was the tin man in the Wizard Of Oz. He meant he'd played him in an amatur production one time, but I naturally thought the tin man in the movie was my dad for years. I was Very proud
I used to listen to the radio a lot when i was little, and always used to believe that all the bands and singers went into the DJ's studio and performed one song live and then moved out for the next artist. WOW! World's biggest live concert, Sherlock!!

On Aladdin theres this bit where the guard runs his thumb across a sword.
So i took the biggest knife i could find and ran my thumb across it.
needless to say i bled a lot and cried.
I watched Charlie Brown a lot when I was younger, the one where he's in a spelling bee.
There's a bit where he exclaims "I'm a failure!!!"
I thought it was perfectly normal to say that so whenever i failed a spelling test or something i would say that to my teacher.
Eventually she called my mum in thinking i had self esteem issues.

When I was little, My dad used to always say "What 'chu talkin' 'bout Willis" to me. One day, I asked my dad when he was talking about something... "Are you going to invite your friend Bob Willis?" He just laughed and I didn't learn till a few years later what he was actually talking about.
I used to be very obsessed with the show 'Digimon'. Whenever my friends would come over we would try to get into the Digiworld with our Digivices for about three hours. We did this about every time she came over for about a year!

When I was little there was this dog food brand called Chuck Wagon, and in their commercials this little wagon would come out from the cupboard and race around the house. When we got some for our dog, my older brother would shout "There it goes around the corner! You just missed it!" And he would have me chasing this nonexistant wagon all over the house.
