I thought that little people crawled through the wires in the back of the TV...so that's how we could see them on TV.

My son, then age 4, - now 13 - used to believe that Vanna White was a tiny little person, fairy size, and that's why she was smaller than the letters of the puzzles on Wheel of Fortune.

I used to believe that people who were on the television had a screen in front of them where they could see everyone who was watching them - I used to hide behind the sofa if I didn't want them to know I was watching.

One of my best friends always believed that the reason Dopey didn't talk was because he was bald. That's what here Mom told her. When we met, and I told her that according to Happy," I don't know, I guess he never tried!" She was devastated. She actually cried!

When I was little I thought that the TV stars lived in the TV and I thought it was th coolest thing EVER! so one day the "Spicegirls" movie was on TV and they did this thng when the talked to the camera and so I decided since i was there "#1 fan" I'de ask them for an atograph and when they did'nt answer I got angry and yelled at "Them" say I hate You! and my parents came in and poped my little fantisy bubble and to this day my older sis still pokes fun of me (even though she belived that too!).

When I was little, I thought that the people on TV could see us, and when they talked/looked at the camera, they were talking just to me. I used to have a crush on Luke from the "Dukes of Hazard", so every Saturday night I would spend the hr. before the show getting dressed up in my best pajamas, curling my hair and making sure I looked my best for Luke!

I use to think that everytime I watched a video there were little people in the video tapes preforming or doing something to make the movie run. And when I watched Waynes World about once a day, I was working them to hard.

After playing a game on the computer, it would count down seconds for me to start a new game or it would close. I always thought the comptuer would blow up if I didnt start a new game or close the window soon enough.

When I was younger, I was obsessed with Darkwing Duck. I'd dress up in my best clothes I had, and make my mom drive me around my neighborhood looking for the wedding that Darkwing had arranged (for us).

Whenever we came near a realtor sign, I was convinced that it was actually a wedding sign for us. Sadly, this resulted in many upsetting drives around my neighborhood.

While watching Bambi with my mom for the first time, I became confused as to what happened to his mother. I asked my mom where she went and was told that she had gone shopping with her friends. I never thought it at all odd for a deer to go shopping, despite my better judgement, since of course my mother would never lie to me...
I not only believed this, but I also believed that at the end when Bambi's wife has two fawns, it was his mother having more children. She was the only doe I knew of in the movie, after all, and she was still living.

I used to think that, whenever I took a bath, I was the star of my own TV show. (The TV show was always being taped, but it was a talk show when I was bathing.) I would take two hours or more in the bath, until the water was very cold. I was very sad when I started taking showers...no more show.

I used to believe that every time I heard a song on the radio, the actual band was performing at that radio station. And if I heard that same song even a minute later, I thought the band somehow raced across town to play the song again. Don't ask me how I thought they made it to radio stations across the country!

i thought that there were tiny people in the radio and i couldn't understand how they got in there and left without me seeing them

I used to believe that if you are "going the wrong way" in a racing video game, the game was warning you that the disk is spinning the wrong way. And that is bad!

I use to believe that the songs on the radio were really being sung at the radio station. I could never understand how two stations could play the same artist so close together.

When I was a little kid I used to think that the ads on TV were aimed specifically at me and when I bought the item being advertized they would stop showing the commertial. I hated the ad for a doll that turned into a cupcake (don't ask) and begged my mother for it so that they would stop showing the commertial.

i thought that the poeple who appeared on tv had to live inside my tv box 4ever! i thought if i broke the tv they would all be free. sadly i thought this till i was 9

When I was very young I had a conversation about the origin of gremlins with my grandfather after seeing the Gremlins film. He told me that in WWII the army and air force reported that gremlins destroyed their equipment and somehow were affiliated with the japanese. A few weeks later, now convinced that gremlins truly existed I was sitting in the bench area of a local mall. An old man gave me a few pennies to through into a water fountain and make a wish. I told him he can keep his change, 'I only throw gremlins in fountains' (after the mildly traumatic climax of the film).

My parents did a very good job of teaching my baby sister that the things you see on television aren't real. When she was 2 and I was 12, I went on the program "AM Chicago" to talk about a child safety program I was a counselor in. When my mother and sister turned on the TV at home to watch, my sister freaked out -- she thought that because she saw her brother on TV, it meant that he wasn't real anymore.
