I used to believe…

When I saw a Back to the Future II scene of Marty McFly talking to Doc Brown on the Walkie-Talkie, I thought Marty said "Duck, duck come in!"

i used to belive that the tv was a stage, and everybody had a set of miniture actors, all cooped up inside the tv box, and when you changed the channel, the little actors would just well start to act lol

Okay, you need to follow this one kinda close: When my sister was about 22, she and three other girls decided to move in together into an apartment. Well, one girl said she had a couch they could use. Another said she had a breakfast table. The other girl said they could use her microwave. My sister chimed in, "I'll bring my TV, it has cable."

I used to think that huge blockbusters that are being heavily advertised were the only movies in the theaters, and all the regular public went to see them. The weird looking flicks were movies that only freaks, or "hill folk" as I used to call them (got that from my older sister) went to see those movies.

Think I learned my lesson the second I saw "Cool Runnings" (the first film I hated, which ironically the rest of my family loved)...

I used to belive the president was watching....I guess thats why I have always been good...I was a retart....I was to young to have brains...I still think I don't have in embbarasing moments....

I used to believe…

Star Wars was the first movie I ever saw in a theatre. I was 5. The experience freaked me out, although later I became a huge fan. I was amazed that the sets were so intricate and that they could change the them so quickly. I thought that it was a play happening behind the screen, and they put a screen in front of the action so the colors would look better. I was scared that one of the characters would accidentally shoot someone in the audience.

I used to think when I was little the people on tv could see what you were doing. So I'd never get dressed while watching tv or anything.

My parents told me this in order to keep me from playing video games too long... They said if I kept a video game on for more than an hour, it would either melt or explode, and so would the TV. I believed this for years!

I used to believe…

When we first saw Nintendo 64 on the advertisement, I thought that it was introduced back in 1964 and I was thinking that video games were already around in the 60's.

When I was three or four, I believed I was going out with Simon from Alvin and the Chipmunks. I made pictures and everything. Now whenever my mom tells the stories I get disturbed at the thought of dating a humanoid shipmunk. o.O

I used to believe…

Well, ever since I was 10, I never wanted to get changed in my room. Why? I believed that all of the anime guys (I'm an anime freak, fan of Kyou Sohma from Fruits Basket and Yusuke Urameshi from YuYu Hakusho) in the pictures on my wall would see me, therefor I got extremely embarassed and would never change unless I was in the bathroom. I'm 12 now, and to this day I won't change in my room.

I used to believe…

When I was around 7 I was freaked out by the posters on my walls. No matter which angle I was at, they were still looking at me....

I used to believe…

Me and my sister use to believe if we walked in front of a clicker when it was being used to change the channel we would be sucked into whatever program was on at that time. We ducked under the clicker everytime we walked past the tv until we were about 12.

I used to think that some television shows were real. That they were merely people being filmed without knowing it. My idea was stolen though. They now call that "Reality Tv" not the Brady Bunch.....

I use to believe that some shows on tv the characters where actually puppets and people were behind my tv acting out the scences with their puppets.
Needless to say I wasn't the brightest child.
