When the 'Pigs in Space' part came on in the Muppets I used to run screaming and hide behind the sofa, I hated that music it scared me to death.

When i was about 8, my mom fell asleep on the couch as she was wont to do and i was sitting in front of the TV and i think the movie had ended but all of a sudden a big SCARY clown face appeared on the shut-off TV and it scared the bejesus out of me because i thought it was real! OOOOHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Upon seeing "The Land Before Time" films, my six-year-old self became obsessed with dinosaurs. I invented a finger game, and dinosaurs would crawl around my bathtub. I would get in trouble because the baby long-neck's "long neck" was my middle finger, and adults simple didn't understand that it was a dinosaur. Whenever I took a bath, the bathtub became a prehistoric underworld and dinosaurs would climb all over the place!

When I was little, I used to believe that when i turned off the television at home... then everyones tv around the world would turn off too so they couldnt watch there programmes

i used to think that the images seen on the screen are all the real human being inside the tv

I used to think that when the television station was having problems and they played the comericial that said 'Please Stand By' that you had to stand by the television. So, I did.

My favorite movie for about a year was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. I was convinced that every time I watched the movie, they had to do it all over again, as if they were inside the TV, acting out the movie just for me. I worried that they would get tired after a while and refuse to come out again.

When I was little I used to think that the radio towers was where the people that played the songs worked. I thought that they had to climb up the radio tower since there wasn't a staircase or elevator. I remember thinking to myself that I would never ever work as a radio DJ!

I went with that theory for the longest time before my mom drove close to one. I asked her how they ever fit into the little lights and she just laughed at me and explained it.

When I was little, my dad told me that there was a one man band living in the cd player and he had a little piano as well. I could never figure out how he managed to play so many instruments and I would spend a lot of time looking through the ventilation slots for him. I also believed (stupidly) that the amplifyer was where the control man sat eating apples and twiddling the knobs. He He He

When I was little I saw a magic show where near the end the assistant was "turned into a poster" in a giant roller and then "folded" into the magicians trunk with the rest of his props.
I assumed that she must resultantly be dead. I couldn't for the life of me comprehend why a young woman would sacrifice herself for a magic show. Then I realized he must of done this trick more than once. How could girls just keep sacrificing themselves like that? I was quite upset as I lingered on this for the rest of the day...

When "Rugrats" was new I used to believe the voice actresses, especially E.G. Daily for some reason, were actual babies. Imagine my surprise when I learned they were women in their 30's. Now I a big fan of Ms. Daily.

When I was kid, I honestly believed that there were little people inside the speakers of our car radio, and that's how we were able to hear the music!

When I was little I used to watch a show. It was a little kids show. The guy that was on it always said names of people like "Godd morning, Sally, Good morning, Ben!" And I thought he could really see people and one day he came on and he said, Good Morning, Katelyn, Good Morning, Melissa" and that just so happens to be me and my sister's names! I ran to my mom screaming, "MOMMY! MOMMY! MR. DRESSUP SAW ME!!!" and my mom would just laugh. It never ocurred to me that he was just saying names.

when i was little, whenever we watched stars in your eyes, i used to think they'd send someone through the lights and the smoke, and send the real singer back out, and i used to shout at the tv that they were cheating, i also thought that everything on telly was live!
