I used to believe…

When I was about 3, I guess my ears were ringing one day, because it sounded like the high pitched whine of a TV. I told my mom that it felt like we were on TV.

When I was watching reruns of "Smurfs" on Cartoon Network when I was 4, I always thought that Vanity Smurf was a girl because he was very feminine (like that pink flower in his hat). Now I'm 13, and I still watch Smurfs on Boomerang and I realize that Vanity's no chick, he's just a gay guy!

I used to think that if a movie either had flashbacks to an adults childhood, or they started when they were a child or anything that required an adult character to be shown as a child, or vice versa, that they filmed the parts in childhood when the actors were that age, and then they had to wait for the actors to grow up to be the right age and film the rest of the movie.

When i was younger and i used to watch casper the cartoon, i felt bad that everyone always ran away from him since he was a ghost..so i used to go up to the speaker and scream casper dont cry ill be your friend.and i got mad cuz he wouldnt talk to me.and the one time i yelled so loud into the speaker so he could hear me and i messed up the speaker..no one knows what happened..

When I was little, I believed that the people on the news lived in the TV. So, one day when My mom and I came across one of the reporters I started crying because the tv was broken and all the people inside had come out.

When I was younger I used to think that at 2:00 in the morning the power company would shut off all of the tv's in the world because i thought no one in the world would be up at that time.

I used to think that you can always talk back at the radio, but then i noticed that sometimes it didn't talk back. That's when i noticed that YOU can only HEAR the radio! My mom had to point it out for me after i screamed loudly at the radio.

When I was young (around 5 or so), I was convinced that the movie "Milo and Otis" was called "My Little Otis". I called it that for a few years until my parents decided to break it to me I was saying it wrong.

I used to believe my mom was Roseanne. She doesn't even really look like Roseanne, but we always watched it and they were both chubby with brown hair, so it just made sense to me. I also used to believe that ratings on movies (such as "R" or "G") referred to where they were made. I can't imagine why.

I use to believe that Beetlejuice was real as well as the boogyman. My sister and her friends use to say the names three times and I would scream as well as cry.

I wanted to order Sweet Pickels when I was little SOOO BADLY because that bus would come with all the characters in it. My mother kept telling me that it wouldn't really be delivered that way, but I was convinced she was lying to me so that I wouldn't want it.

I believed that the song on the radio was somehow tied to your location in the car, so that if you wanted to hear the same song again you could just turn the car around.

One time I was in bed with my parents watching "Star Wars." It got to the best part and then the tv turned off. I got really mad about this and asked my parents about it...they said that the tv's bedtime is 9:00 and it turned off to go to sleep. For years I would turn off the tv right before 9:00 so that the tv could get some rest. It took me forever to realize my parents had just used the remote...duh!

i used to believe that when i heard
darth vader's theme tune i thought the devil was coming up i can visualise seeingf and hearing that
