I used to believe…

When I used to watch the australian soap, "home and away" as I child, I'd have great fun singing along to the theme tune, but I always got confused when the song was drawing to an end and it said,"glosseridge day", I used to wonder what in God's name a Glosseridge day was. I was about 12 when I finally worked out that the words were actually,"closer each day"!

When I was little, really little, I thought that the commercials on tv about food was what the people in the grocery store was stocking at that exact moment. I know this sounds stupid!!!!!

When i was younger about 7 I used to watch Sailor Moon and believed that they were real and i could become a sailor scout than a very very close friend died so i had to grow up much faster than kids should have to and than i would see my friend in my dream as a protector of the scouts a half a year later they cancelled the show so i was forced to give up my childish dreams at 7 1/2 years old

I used to belive that when the TV went blank when it was on, that some spies were watching me through my TV. So I would yell, "Put it back to my regular programming, or else I'll call the police." And surprisingly, the show(or commercial) would come back on.

I used to believe…

When i was a kid my dad took me to see Return of the Jedi. Not old enough to fully understand what was going on, I asked why the Death Star wasn't all put together. Dad told me it was because the movie crew didn't finish building it in time for the filming.

I was very dillusional as a child, and my favorite movie was (and still is) The Nightmare Before Christmas. When I wanted someone to tell me a story, my auntie would tell me that story. At the end of each time, she would say that Skelleton Jack did have children. Then she always told me I was one of them. I believed this until I turned, like, 11. ((thats terrible...))

When I was little, I used to think that all actors were adults, and that kid actors were adult actors whose growth had somehow gotten stunted. I was a very confused child.

I used to think that Dana Carvey was a woman. I had only heard the name Dana as a woman's name, and the first time I saw Dana Carvey was in a Wayne's World commercial (as the long-haired Garth), so I assumed that he was a woman. I held this believe for at least 3 years, until I saw the "Best of Dana Carvey" episode of SNL.

I used to think that people in posters and photos could see you. For some reason this only applied to pictures that were hanging on walls. To this day I can't have posters in my room while I'm changing my clothes.

I used to think that cartoon characters were people in costumes. I had a terrible time figuring out why my Hallowen costume was different from the cartoons on TV. I also remember wanting to be Ms. Piggy from Muppet Babies when I got older. (I have no idea why).

I USED TO THINK PEOPLE LIVED IN THE T.V

I used to believe…

You know sometimes when adverts are cut short, well, when i was little, i used to think that it was because th people who made the adverts were away for the day, and the advert man would play out as much as he could remeber then leave it! how stupid i must have been....

I used to believe that there were little people inside the tv adn they can come out.Well,I like this one cartoon charector so much I wrote a note (well a piece of paper with scribbles but hey I was young)and asked if the charector will come "Out" and stuck it in the Vcr.Mom was not happy/

I used to believe that if I were to break the TV screen I could go to whatever was on the TV at the time. It took a lot of restraint not to take a brick to the TV when the Gummi Bears were on.

when i was tiny, i used to think that every time a song was played on the radio, the band, or singer, was in the studio, and i was amazed that our stupid hometown radio station knew so many people

As a child , I thought that if you smashed the TV screen, the people would come out to meet you.

I used to believe that all of my little boy-friends would grow up to look like Pat Sajak, and all of my little girl-friends (myself included) would look like Vanna White. I hate that show now...

When I was alot younger, I used to think that all the songs on the radio were constantly sung by the artists. I use to ask "How come the singers don't get tired?" Now I know how the radio works! Yay!
