I used to think a little man lived inside the radio. So I would always look into the speaker box to try to find him. I had no idea that these people were actually in a studio.

Back in the early '70's, my brother Mike thought that the Pillsbury Dough Boy was REAL!! One day at a supermarket, he got away from my Mom and he went to the refrigerator section of the store and he began busting open cans of Pillsbury biscuits looking for the Dough Boy to pop out. Biscuits were everywhere! The supermarket manager got a kick out of my brother's little stunt and didn't make my Mom pay for the cans that he busted open!!!

When I was younger I used to think that every time a song was played on the radio, the band would have to play it live, again and again and again. I imagined some sort of large building where all the bands worked and played their songs a few times a day. I thought they must get really bored just waiting around for their next turn.

I beleived that a TV worked by having small people inside the box, and that what they were doing was projected up onto the screen. I thought these small people lived in everybodies TV and there life consisted ov constantly giving us occular pleasure and confined to TVs AND only being about 5mm tall. Bless them working their socks off.

When I was about 8 or 9, my older sister was watching Edward Scissorhands. I was allowed to watch it with her because everyone thought I was old enough...however, the scene in that movie where he lightly touches the guys face and it bleeds scared me to death. For 6 months, when I walked down the hall (one floor, long hallway), I would stop at every door and peek in to make sure that he wasn't standing in the doorway to cut my head off.

Even when someone was walking with me...I wouldn't tell them the reason though because I didn't want him to go after them as well.
