Then i had a dream, that i was watching Seasame St. then he said "Hi *******, want 2 play? i couldn't talk (in the dream). He jumped out of the T.V. pulled out a BIG knife, chased me through out the house, killed all of my family. Then I ran down 2 the basement, hid behind a HUGE box and hid there for about 2 days. Then i heard a little annoying "HI!" I looked behind me. THERE WAS ELMO 2 WHOLE DAYS!!!! Thank goddness it was all a dream!

When I was little they used to have this commercial for bathtub cleaner with "scrubbing bubbles" that the commercial showed as little cartoon bubbles with scrub brushes beneath them. The live person in the commercial would spray the stuff into the tub and the scrubbing bubbles would go to work cleaning the tub to sparkling. I pleaded and begged for months to my mom to get the tub cleaner with the scrubbing bubbles. Finally she relented and bought it. I was so upset when she sprayed the tub cleaner into the tub and all that came out was foam.

When I was a child I believed that the music and voices that came from the radio were made by itsy bitsy mice stuck inside. I eventually broke a radio to pieces just to see for myself.

In the cult British Kids show called Rainbow, there was a character called Zippy, whose mouth you could zip up, and if he got really annoying one of the other characters would zip him up. This used to scare the hell out of me, cos i thougt "if they keep him zipped up too long he'll suffocate!" I couldn't watch Rainbow after that.

When I was small I had several beliefs. I believed that the honey monster (the monster on the front of sugar puff boxes) would come out of the tv when the adverts were on and eat me, so i'd hide underneath the table until it was over.
I also used to pretend I was a cat called fluff.
I'd hide around the house and my mum would have to call me out by saying "fluff i have milk for you!"
Another thing i used to do was pretend to be riding when walking along with mum in parks and the like. I'd trot along and if I fell off i'd throw my ride away and sort myself out. One day my mum said "don't throw your horse away" to which i replied, "it's not a horse, it's a camel."

Okay...
I usto belive that when I was in school, and thinking about something I wasnt supposto be thinkin... ( about naked people or whatever ) lol and that when I thought of it,the people behind me in class could read my thoughts!
Or anybody there in the school could see waht Im thinking!

I watched Nightmare on Elm Street when I was young, and of course, I couldn't sleep. So I would tell myself over and over, and really believed ,"I'm just a little kid and that monsters only want to get the teenagers!!"

I remember when i got my nintendo I thought the guy i was playing against in two player games (which was the game playing of course) was another kid who happened to be playing his at the same time and we got paired up somehow.
Well I had a wheel of fortune game and the machine always used the same names and i thought that I was always playing Ryan and Michelle. I was really confused why they were always playing at the exact time i was.

My friends and I used to pretend we were the girls from "Sailor Moon" and we would watch the show everyday. When we watched it, we would point out the characters and tell each other and our parents that that was us on TV. I was really disappointed when we all yelled "Moon Power" and funky glitter didn't come out of our fingers and disable our enemies!

Being a nutty child, i thought the bands actually went to every single radio station to play their song. I used to get angry at the DJ's for talking over their music!

My Pop likes to channel hop the radio and the same band was playing on two stations. I asked how they could be in two places at once.
It was then revealed to me about CDs!!!

I actually thought that the Shark in the Jaws films was MEANT to be a mechanical one and that maybe someone was controlling it all along.

Max Headroom used to freak me out. I think it was the way he moved. He reminded me of these mannequins in a suit shop, that I really hated to pass by, because I thought they'd spring to life a la Max Headroom style.

One day I couldn't remember the ending for the Oscar Meyer song. Humming it to myself, singing it outloud, nothing worked to complete the happy jingle. That's when I came up with my own. . . "cause Oscar Meyer has a way of recombining DNA!" Still makes me smile.

I thought that every TV show was filed live, and I always wondered why they never messed up.

When I was little I used to believe that the people we were watching on the television were able to watch us as well. I would regularly go round the house looking for hidden cameras - funny how I never found any!

i believed that everyone you saw on the telly were actually inside it.... i used to rack my brains on where their body had gone when you saw a close up!
