When I was about four I watched Labyrinth and was scared silly. Whenever anybody said the words 'I wish' I would run away screaming, thinking the Goblin King would come along.

When I listened to the radio when i was little i used to think the singers had to rush to the radio station and sing there songs and then leave. i would spend a lot of time thinking about how they got there so quickly before the previous song ended and if the station played a song more than once i thought the singers must be really annoyed having to go there all the time.

I was a quite odd child..
My parents allowed me to see pg-13 rated movies with them..
So whenever I had seen a movie that I had liked with an actor I had admired,
I would go home and pretend the actor was in bed with me.(doing nothing)
Just lying there with me..

I used to believe when I was young that If you were watching a program and turned off the tv the program would pause. But to my dismay after dinner my favourite tv show was over...now I waste electricity keeping the tv on.

When I was a small child I used to beleive that very tiny people lived in my radio and would make music, or read the news. Of course now I realize that they don't...... or do they?

when i was about 8 or 9 years old, i thought some one would take a poll of every thing you buy, and send the right commercials to your T.V. it never struck me as odd that some commercials were for things we didn't want. i also thought if we bought something from a commercial, we would stop getting that commercial. i remember once getting really annoyed because one commercial was being played over and over, and i said to my mom, "can we just go buy that, so they'll leave us alone?" and she was really confused.

Since I watched soap operas as a child I believed that the characters were real until I was watching a morning talk show and one of the guests was a character on Days of Our Lives that had been shot a few days before. I was so confused, I couldn't figure out how he came back to life.

When I was about 5, I saw adverts for Rice Krispies on the TV, showing a child eating the cereal and the characters on the box coming to life and causing havoc. After that I was too scared to eat Rice Krispies because I thought that would happen to me!

I studied painting with a guy who grew up in an orphanage in Mexico City. He told me once that when he was a kid, he used to listen to the "Green Hornet" on this old vacuum tube type radio. He liked to look through the back into the weird little world of the vacuum tubes and was convinced that one day he would see the Green Hornet himself, riding around down there

When i was 3 or 4 i used to love Barney on tv. My cousins told me that Barney was murderer disguising himself as Barney. After that i stopped singing their songs and never watched it again.

After watching the episode of Barney the dinosaur about the four seasons i got it stuck in my head that ech season occured once a day. I wanted to plant something and it said on the packet to plant it in spring, so every few minutes i would ask my mother if it was spring yet.. This just goes to show that Barney is a lying sneak.

When I was little, I never understood how the volume on a tv or radio worked. I just assumed that when you turned the dial up or down, it made the people on tv/radio sing or talk louder.

I used to subscribe to Nintendo Power back when they still ran the Howard & Nester comics. One issue showed the title characters using an "interpakportation" device to travel inside Super Mario Bros. 3 to debug it. For years, I thought that Nintendo actually debugged games this way.

When I was 6 or 7 I believed that people on t.v. could see me. Once, i was watching t.v. with my older sister and i told her to cover up because they were watching her.
