For some reason I used to think that all films were 90 minutes long and I remember having an argument with my room mate at college when he tried to convince me otherwise. I must have been at least 18 at the time! Having now seen several films which are shorter/longer than 90 minutes I've realise the error of my ways...

This isn`t really my belief, but my son`s. He was four years at that time, and had just got a small radio. Many times, ha asked me to open the radio, but he didn`t tell me why, until one day... Then he said: Mama, please open the radio, I want to see the little man inside it! I asked, what little man? He said: The man who is sitting inside the radio, talking and singing, I want to see him, can`t we let him out now?

I used to believe that actors got paid so much money because everytime an ad, tv show or movie that they were in played on TV they had to act it again. I didnt realise that it was taped and they just did it once and replayed the tape. I just figured they stayed in the studio or where ever waiting til they got told that their part was in.

We used to get a coach to school every morning and the driver used to listen to BBC Radio 2 on it. For the longest time I thought the DJ that had the breakfast show was called 'Joe Stracey' because they had this jingle that sounded like 'Radio 2 ... Joooooe Straaaaacey'. It wasn't until I was about 17 that I found out that the jingle actually said 'Radio 2 ... gooooes racing' and preceeded their tips for that days horse racing and that the DJ was actually Terry Wogan.

I remember going through an old cupboard once when I was about nine years old and finding this really old looking '60s styled radio. I ran upstairs and plugged some batteries into it because I was certain that I'd be able to listen really old radio shows - shows as old as the radio, straight from the past. I was gutted when I turned it on and heard that week's top 40 chart show.
