I used to believe that there was little people inside the radio making all that music and talking.
I used to believe that when I listened to the car radio, the D.J.'s were actually INSIDE the radio. The ironic thing is that I'm now a morning D.J. and no, I'm not inside the radio!

I used to think that if I don't leave the bathroom after brushing my teeth in 2 minutes, I would be locked in there forever. That explains my bad oral hygiene.

When I was a wee lad, 4 or 5, I realized that TV wasn't real, but I hadn't quite grasped make up and special effects. I wondered where they got a guy with pointed ears to play Spock, or a giant hairy thing to play Chewbacca, etc.
I believed the sticks you'd occasionally see hanging from the arms of The Muppets were crutches from a recent accident that the character had had. Makes sense, I guess.
I thought that the music on the radio was being played live at the radio station and bands were constantly stopping by to play their music.
I used to believe that when an actor died or was killed in a TV show that they were really dead. I was always amazed to see that actor appear in a different show at a later date. "That can;t be the same guy, he died on that last Perry Mason episode".

When I was young, I had seen a "Flintstones" episode that involved a musical group playing at a radio station for the broadcast. I thought all music on the radio was played live by musicians at the station.
I used to believe that the tv station could monitor what I was watching. If a show came on that I didnt like I would quickly turn the channel, hoping they would cancel the show.

When I was little and my mom would take me to the theater, I saw all these tiny people at the front of the theater. I didn't understand perspective, and that things appeared smaller the farther away they were. So- I thought these people were tiny people. And I wanted one. My mommy said no. Alas- I have never recovered. ;c)
i used to think it took 65 million years to make the movie "Jurrasic Park". i got this idea because of the movies tagline on the posters for it. i couldnt understand why someone would take such along time to make a movie.

When I was five or six, I loved to watch the movie Ghostbusters 2, but when the scene with the ghost train in the sewer came on I thought that the train would come through the TV unless I hid under the bear rug in the center of the room.

When I was three years old my siblings had a movie night where they showed the movie "Poltergeist." It wasn't until my teens that I wasn't afraid of the electronic "snow" on an unused television channel.
I used to think that what was on the radio was unique to each radio-- so, if I didn't like what was on, say, 93.3 FM on my clock radio, I'd get my Walkman, tune it to 93.3 FM, and expect something different to be playing.

When I was little I believed that the people on TV lived in there.
I used to believe that 'broctoyouby' was a word. On commercial television after every show they would say the show was 'brought to you by' and then the name of the sponsor.
