I used to believe that every time you watched a movie the actors had to be inside your TV acting it out live.

When I was young I used to believe that the singers on the radio would wait in line to sing. So when someone requested a song i thought it was unfair to all the other singers.

I was a navy brat that had to move around a lot. We were in and out of the country every 6 months. I used to believe that the AM dial on my radio was for American Music and the FM was for Foreign Music

I used to think the people on tv were actually in my tv, like a puppet show. If the volume was too low, I would yell "turn it up!!" into the back of the tv.

When my twin sister and I were little we asked our mom if native americans were still alive today. When she said yes we took this to mean the same native americans were still alive today that were alive during the time of the western movies we saw. For years I believed that, much like elves, native americans lived forever.

That box office numbers were not about money. If I heard, "The new Star Wars grossed over 10 million this weekend." I thought that 10 million people were grossed out when they saw it.

I thought the laughter on TV was coming from people watching the show in their homes. To test it, I arranged to have my cousin watch the same program I was watching. During each pause for laughter (when the microphones would be on), I bellowed her name into the speaker to see if she'd hear me. She claimed she did.

I used to think that actors on TV shows weren't really kissing. That one was standing slightly farther back than the other (in relation to the camera) and they would make kissing motions. Because why would they actually kiss?

I used to believe that millions of tiny people lived in TV and took turns to do their thing in front of a machine which would project them larger on the other side. One day, a TV mechanic ruined my day.

when i was younger i thought that the characters on shows were real people and that they didnt know they were being on a tv...i later found out that those ppl are called actors.

I used to think Cartoons were actors that lived ina different dimension. and we could watch each other on tv. and when "Space Jam" came out, i thought there was some break through in science in which we found out how to cross into each others dimensions

When I was a little kid I believed that the weatherman controlled the weather. That's not too unreasonable- you're a little kid watching clouds and fronts move around on the map as the weatherman moves his hands! I was so mad when he made it rain on the weekend that my dad and I were supposed to go camping.

When I was little i used to believe that the T.V. was like a window, and if you looked farther over towards the edge of the screen you would see more.

When I was little I thought that actors and actresses never actually kissed they just got really close and pretended.

When I watched TV I used to believe that everything was drawn!
Cartoons were drawn in felt pens and recorded footage was drawn in pencil.

I used to believe that the people on tv lived inside of it. i thought that if i cut it open, then i could go play with them.
I tried to convince my mother numerous times to give me a butter knife so that i could go play with Barney.
