I used to believe…

When watching appolo 13, I felt terribly sorry for the man called Housten; everyone seemed to want him to solve all their problems!
I believed this until an embarrassingly old age.

I used to believe they used special effects to make movie kisses look real, since obviously they couldn't be forcing actors to really kiss people they weren't in love with.

i used to think that the people were hanging off the outside tv aerial and u could see them on the TV.
I also couldn't seem to get my head round VHS tapes, and thought that the cartoon characters lived inside the tape.

I used to believe that actors whose characters died in live-action movies were actually killed in real life. For example, in a James Bond movie each anonymous henchman who was shot was a real person who was completely fine with being killed for the sake of the film. I always grappled with the question of how these people would be paid, and I concluded that if the actor agreed to die for the movie the producers would pay off any debts of the family members.

When I was little, I believed that the world was black and white back when my father was young. We used to watch t.v. and all of the old shows that my dad liked was black and white. I asked him one day, daddy how old were you when the world turned color? He had a good laugh, but he didn't tell me the truth. I was probably 7 or 8 and it was years before I figured it out.

When I was little I believed that Donald Duck lived with my aunt and uncle. They would call on Holidays and let me talk to him (My uncle can do the voice perfectly). Whenever I came to visit he was mysteriously off at Euro Disney, I still believed it until i was 10 years old.

a year ago i watched a chuck movie i was sooo scared!! i had to take a bath after i was looking everywhere to make sure he wasn't there. when i went to bed i jumped on the bed cuz i thought he was under my bed. i was 9 im 10 now. im still scared!

I used to believe that during a newscast I could talk to the newscaster. I have a special bond with Peter Jennings as a result.

When I watched the original Star Wars trilogy on VHS as a kid, I believed that the actors were inside of the tape, and when I rewound the tape, it would make them do the scene again, therefor making them mad. I didn't rewind the tape that much after that.

i used to believe that when you watched a movie, the actors were acting it out in real time for you EVERY time you watched it. and even when you re-wound or fast forwarded the movie they would go super fast

When I was younger, my Dad used to tell me that black and white films were black and white because colour hadn't been invented yet. I believed him until I was around 10 years old :)

when i was about 4-6 years old i used to think that cartoons where peoples dreems..
I used to thing they connected selected people to special machines when they were sleeping...

When I was little I thought everything on TV was animated. I got into a lot of fights with my cousins over this !

i used to think when we would turn the television of it would pause on whatever i was watching. and when i turned it back on to continue watching the program it was different and i would yell at my mom for causing me to miss my shows.

As a kid I used to get really confused by advertisements that stated that a store was selling "Occasional furniture". I thought there must be some strange kind of vanishing chairs and tables that would only appear some times, sort of like the Cheshire cat... It was only later that someone told me that it was furniture for special occasions; to be used occasionally.

when i was about 6 when i watched the tv i use to think that tv was drawn by a man who lives inside the tv and owns alot of felt tips and paints. and when we lost signal that was him making a mistake and having to rub it out
