I used to believe…

When i was little the OJ Simpson trial was all they talked about on the news. I used to think OJ Simpson was somehow involved in the orange juice industry and when my parents would pour a glass of OJ I thought they were buying his juice and the news only talked about him so much because they wanted people to buy his juice and his juice company was having trouble.

I used to believe…

when i was little, my aunt played bejeweled and i never did because whenever i moved something it said "illegal move" so i thought my aunt was playing something that was against the law.

I believed growing up that I was the star of a television show. Cameras constantly following and capturing every moment of my life for all to see. People only existed when interacting with me or being in the vicinity of my being. So I would also wonder what happens to these "characters" once I am gone. Do they disappear? Safe to say that bathroom moments were pretty embarrassing.

I thought that actors and actresses had to have the same name as the character they were playing. I also thought that cartoon characters were real people who looked exactly as they do in the show, so I wondered how they found live people in all the different animation styles!

I used to think that, if they did flashbacks to when the characters were young, they would start filming when all the actors they wanted were at a young age, and then waited until recently to do the present scenes!

When I would see a commercial for a Mary Kate and Ashley movie I thought it was three girls names instead of two, like it was Mary, Kate, and Ashley. So when I would see a video that had them on the cover I would wonder where the third girl was.

i used to believe that there were people in the television and they came to life when you turned it on and if you turned off the tv the people would not move until you turned the tv back on

I used to believe that the actors in the cowboy movies really went over a cliff or really got shot and I was undecided whether it was worth all that to be in a movie.

I used to believe that when actors and actresses kissed on the lips in movies that they had plastic covering their lips because I didn't think it was possible for them to kiss someone that wasn't their spouse.

When I was growing up I saw billboards for Household Finance Co. (HFC) My dad had the same initials. I asked about that and he said the company was named after him. For a few years I really thought the Household Finance Company was named after my Dad.

I used to think the commercials on when i was a kid about alien registration were about real space aliens. I did not figure out they were about declaring your immigration status until i was 12 or 13 !

I use to get excited when i saw movie trailers and their release date...i use to always thought that it would be release on the same channel i saw the trailer on....

I used to believe that Andy Griffith did the whistling at the beginning of his show while he and Opie were walking along with the fishing poles.

I used to see Kroger commercials on TV as a kid, and I thought for sure it was continuosly being filmed live at the Kroger my mom and I shopped at. So whenever I would go to the store with her, I was always on the lookout for the cameras, hoping to be in the next TV commercial.

I was [and still am] obsessed with Harry Potter. Almost every morning I thought I heard the Hogwarts express [they were just normal trains passing through town though]. When I turned 11 and didn't get my letter [via owl of course] and I waited until I heard the "hogwarts express" and when I realized it "left without me" I started bawling. I was distraught for days.

When i'm still 6 years old I Used to believe if i watch a movie with a bad ending for the second time it would turns out to be a happy ending, Cause the character should already know what would happens next.. sadly the ending still gone bad even i watch it again and again.. and that times i think all of the character are an idiot.. that's the reason why i love to watch every movie more than once! :D...
