When i was little, I was a HUGE fan of the tv show, Lampchop. I had the clothes, the DVDs, almost everything. Well one night my mom told me we were having "lambchops" for Dinner. I freaked out! i was crying hysterically. My mom killed lambchop and is making her for dinner! Well, my mom explained it to me, I was still apprehensive, until Lampchop was on tv the next morning :D

I was about six when I was given a Ronald McDonald CD rom to play with on the neighbors computer.. it had this calander bit and when I clicked on the 1st of April it told me it was going to self destruct in 10 seconds. I believed it, mostly because I knew f-all about computers and just about wet myself, I hid under the bed and started praying.. when it just did the whole "APRIL FOOLS" thing, I got sooo mad at it that I put it in time out...

I used to believe that when I listened to songs over the radio it was the artist singing their song to that specific radio station through a pay phone. I thought they must have gotten so tired!

There was this show in the 90's about Mary-Kate and Ashley being detectives or something. When I was really young I would always sit through the whole episode looking for Kate. (I thought Mary-Kate was two names. Like there was three girls, Mary, Kate, and Ashley.)

One day when I was about 5 my grandmother was driving me to her mother-in-laws flat in Potts Point. When passing the Coca Cola sign in Kings Cross, I asked her what it said, she replied "drink your milk".

When I was a child, the "This is your brain on Drugs" (Where they fry the egg) commercials would play all the time during the Saturday Morning cartoons. I completly misunderstood those commercials and believed that the act of frying an egg in butter would somehow make it be "Drugs" I learned quickly how wrong I was when I yelled at my mom for "Making Drugs" for breakfast one saturday morning.

I use to believe Chucky from "Child's Play" lived in my bathroom. So everytime i past by the door i would bolt by quickly to avoid him catching me. Also i was afraid of the toilet eatin me when it flushed. Dont know why...

Growing up, my father was telling me about Hitler's rise to power, and how he had blackshirt stormtroopers before an army, and having seen Empire Strikes Back at the ripe age of 5 or 6, the stormtroopers uniforms really scared the pants off me.

Me: you mean stormtroopers were real?
Pops: well of course
Me: are any still alive?!
Pops: it wasn't *that* long ago.
Me: (most important) DO THEY STILL HAVE THIER UNIFORMS??!?
Pops:well I'm sure some still have them hidden in the back of thier closets..

YEARS of terror.

One time when I was a kid, I thought that I was skipping/fast-forwarding commercials on TV by in actuality- changing the channel. I thought I'd get back to the show faster.

When I was about 5 years old, my friend and I would play Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire for the N64.
When we got to the second level there would be Wampas which we called "The Hairy Guys"
We would always open up the cages and make them come out.
Than we would run away and a few second later go back and pause really quickly when we saw them coming.
They freaked us out.
Than after awhile him and I would pretend they were chasing us in real life and run around in my basement.

I used to believe…

When I was about 4 or 5, I had this crush on Max from The Goofy Movie.
I would draw pictures and watch the movie ALL the time.
I still wonder why I had a crush on a cartoon character.

I used to believe that a little man in our t.v. ran a film of whatever movie was on. So when I left a really good movie I would unplug the t.v., come back hoping to see the rest of the movie where I left off. Never really worked...

I used to believe that all movies were documentaries, real things that had been filmed when they happened. I always marvelled that they had such great camera technology in ancient Egypt, but rode in chariots because they didn't have cars.
