i used to believe that i couldn't see the ladies head from the Powerpuff Girls because i had a small tv in my room. then my mom got a big big BIG tv for the living room and i saw it was just the show.

When I was younger I used to believe that TV shows were happening in real life and then when I heard them say "At 9pm Eastern, 8Pm central" I was very confused as to why when I tried to watch it again at 9 it wasn't on.
I used to believe I invented Dennis the Menace. Now granted I was born in 1979, and he was around way before me, but that never stopped me from thinking, for some reason that I came up with the whole concept of Dennis the Menace. I'm not sure where this came from exactly... :)

you know that cartoon show on disney channel called kim possible??? ya well of course every cartoon needs a catchy theme song, and i liked singing all of them... but anyways when it came to the part call me beep me if u wanna reach me... i thought it said call me BEAT me if u wanna reach me... to me since kim possible beat up bad guys and was tough i thought that in order to get her phone number you need to beat her in a battle... this made perfect sense to me... but when i sang the theme in my living room where my mom overheard she insisted it was beep me not beat me.. oh well

When I was four I'd never been to the movies before. My sister and cousins took me along with them to see Mary Poppins. I got bored with the movie and screamed for them to change the channel because I thought it was an enormous tv.

Up untill about age 13 I used to have to get dressed in the bathroom. I could never get changed in my room becuase the posters of actors and rockstars were actually special portals that the people could watch their fans through. I'm still a little embarassed to be naked in front of my posters

when i was younger i used to belive that if you thought realy hard about someone that they would be able to see you and everything you were doing. So whenever i was about to do something bad i would think about what my mom was thinking as she watched me doing it.
i used to be obsessed with orlando bloom, and i had all these pics of him on my wall. i never got changed in my room, because even though i knew they were just pieces of paper, they were still staring at me. it was really creepy. my friend felt the same way and when she had posters on her wall, shed get changed in her closet.......
i still dont get changed in my room if theres any pics of ANYONE on my wall!
i once had a friend who went to see a lianardo decaprio movie, and in the end the character which he played died. my friends husband was sitting next to a girl who started to cry. then he leaned over and said to her, ( jokingly) " you know, he actually did die in real life". and that just made the girl bawl even harder. boy, did he feel bad after that!
