I used to believe…
When I was about four or five, The Publisher's clearing House ran a commercial that said; "we'll find you, wherever you are." I guess I took it very literally, because not long after, my dad took a different route to my grandmother's house, and got lost. I was'nt scared though- I was certain it was just a matter of time before PCH came to the rescue.
I used to believe the people in the TV could see me, so if i didn't like the show i would say "oh man, you guys stink!" and if i liked it i would say "you guys are awesome!" and my mom never told me they couldn't here me.

when i was younger i always thought tv was invented when i was born just for me, as a birthday present. which made me question what my parents did for fun before me?
i used believe that there were two little men strapped to the bottom of our car that were really good musicans,(sp?)and they would play every song on the radio. (they must have some good vocal cords) I used to look for them, and once i brought food to them!

When I was little, I was very afraid of the movie E.T.-Extra Terrestrial. I thought that if I flushed the toilet at night, if I had woken up to use the restroom during the night, then E.T. would pop out of the toilet and eat my butt. I had to call my mom to flush the toilet for me at night!

When I watched T.V. and saw those commercials for products and they said "call the number on the screen" I thought that to get the thing they were advertising I had to write the number on the window screen and when it didn't come I got really mad.

You know in cartoons when someone is kissing someone a temperature thermometer would burst because the kiss was 'hot'. Well, when I was five I spotted a thermometer prompted on the wall in a grocery store and began to kiss my mommy's hand. I got angry that the temperature stayed the same.
I used to believe Chucky would come out of my toilet, stab me with a knife, and kill me. :(

When I first saw TMNT, I was still a toddler when the first animated series became popular, I thought April's name was "Apron".
I used to believe that, if you were looking at the tv, and if there was a group of people and the camera was scanning along them, and if it went past someone you thought you knew, you could walk up to the tv and look into the screen sidway's and you would see them... teeheehee!

When I was little, I used to love the Wizard of Oz. My favorite part was when they would sing "Cosby, Cosby, Cosby, Cosby, Cosby..... Because of the wonderful things he does!" How great it was that the munchkins loved the Cosby Show just much as I did!

after watching the Truman Show i always analyze the little stuff that look like cameras. one day when i was 9 years old i took my digital camera and threw it out the window and looked at the sky and yelled to the "director" of my show (the Jenna Show xP) that i want to get out of this fake world and yadda yadda.... my parents grounded me baaaad bcs the camera was worth a LOT of money and they took me to the psychiatrist. I still find myself looking at strange objects and wonder wether EVERYONE is watching me right now (im 14 yrs old)

I thought that "Celebrity Cruises" meant that at least one celebrity would be traveling in the ship and that mingling with the celebrities was part of the package. I was a tad disappointed when I found out it was just the name of the upscale cruise division of a large cruise company.
