I used to believe…
My brothers and I used to have lots of sleepovers with my cousins when we were little. On one such sleepover, my aunt put in a movie for us to watch, and the copyright notice displayed at the beginning of the video. Being unable to read, I asked my aunt what those words said. She replied, "'If you talk during this movie, it will turn off automatically.'" To this day I can't stand it when people talk while we're watching a movie.

When I was in about 4th grade, the best show was Chalkzone, so every day at recess, my WHOLE class drew stuff on the chalk board to send into chalkzone, we even drew the hole and tried to get in!!

When I was a kid i used to believe that loads of tiny little people lived inside my tv....and every time I turned on the tv they would hold pictures up to the screen. They would change the pictures really quickly, faster than the naked eye could see, to make stories and tv programs for me to watch.

When I was 7 my Dad let me watch Jaws, after that I believed he was in my waterbed. I slept on the floor for 2 weeks until my parents agreed to buy me a new bed.

Thanks to the movie "Annie", I thought hot dogs were made from real dogs.

When I was a child, I used to listen to a lot of books on cassette. But it took me a long time to understand the technology of cassette tapes and distinguish them from radio.
So I thought that whenever you put a tape in and pressed play, a light would flash at the desk of whoever was meant to read that tape, and they would read it to you over the radio.
I spent ages trying to catch them out. I was a bit of an arse towards Tony Robinson, making him stop and start, and rewind so often.
I used to hide a dinner knive under a pillow for one week, believing that I could take it, yell "for the honor of Greyskull!!" and be transformed into She-Ra by magical powers... never worked..

when i was little. i loved transfomers. And i used to think " transformers. robots in disguise" was " transformers. robots meet the eye". And then when i was about 11 or 12 i saw an add on tv and i sung along with it, singing those words. my friend picked up on it and still will never let me forget it.
