I used to listen to the radio as a kid - unfortunately I didn't know you could change from AM to FM.... the station was always on Motown and the oldies.... I actually thought that the music was modern - i rarely even heard up to date music....

When I was a little boy, I always thought that people on television could see me the same way I could see them. So whenever I would be running around the living room in my scooby doo underwear and my mom would turn on The Price is Right (or some other oddly related show) I would run off and put some clothes on. I just remembered this as I was reading thru some of the other "beliefs", so I gotta good laugh. thx =)

when i was about 5 or 6 i used to think tv shows were live and performed actually inside my T.V. This is why i thought ad breaks were for the little people inside there to decide what to do in the next bit.

When I looked at the TV Guide I thought To Be Announced was actually a show that was on for three or four hours at a time. I also thought it was a religioius show for some reason.

I wanted Sweet Pickles books since I watched the ad on TV and hoped to get the bus to deliver them to me. But I lived overseas at the time. So I was hoping that when we went on a trip to the USA that I could have them delivered to the motel we were staying in.

About 20 years later I ended up finally finding them in a classroom and library! And I still thought they were cool

When i was young i used to believe that if i smashed the T.V. screen, and i crawled into the T.V. i would be where ever was on the T.V. So when i was watching batman i thought i would end up in Gotham City.
I told my dad this and he freaked out, and i quote "NO NO NO NO NO NO, If you break the T.V. its just a bunch of wires in there, and then the T.V. will be broken and we wont be able to watch our shows anymore, so PLEASE dont break the television, I cant afford to buy us a new one."

I used to believe that Reuters (News Agency) was the surname of one single journalist, as I would always here �Reuters reports that or Reuters this� and I use to wonder how can he manage to visit all those places and events and write all that news and I thought he was like superhero.

when i was little i thought that Sears commercial with the slogan "We'll do your homework for you" was literal, so i called the 1-800 number and asked the customer service lady questions on addition and subtraction from my 3rd grade homework worksheet! LoL, she was really nice about to too!

When I was about 6, I thought that the actors on the TV show were real, and tried sending a letter to the blue power ranger. Also at this time I thought just putting the person's name on the letter would get it to them.

I used to believe the people on my posters on my bedroom wall would get out of the pictures at night or when I'm out of the room. (that was a few years ago) I'm 14 now and now i wouldn't mind My Chemical Romance or just Gerard Way or Frank Iero coming out my posters. lol

A few years ago, i used to believe that if you had posters on your bedroom wall, the people on the posters where watching you and there where cameras in their eyes. Some times i still feel as if thats true.

I used to become VERY confused when I was little and my mom would watch crime shows. Whenever there was a reanactment I would ask my mom how the directors do that, because I thought it was the actual crime taking place. I would ask her how they knew where to be to film it and why they never tried to help the victim. She would tell me to be quiet so she could hear the tv, this went on on until I could read. XP
