In the mid to late 80s there was a commercial for Halls cough drops, and it was some guy walking into a giant long square hallway (a blown-up package of cough drops), and as he walks through it it's all colorful... almost like something out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and by the time he walks out the other end his cough is gone. My dad told me that when I was really little he caught me sitting in front of the air cooler in my wet bathing suit in the middle of winter, trying to catch a cold so I could "go to the halls of medicine"!

Whenever my dad would load a new game on the computer for me, I would see that box of all the things you had to "agree" with to play the game (copyrites, etc.) When I was taught how to load the programs myself, I would always make sure to read this all very carefully before I clicked Next. I was convinced that if you did not read it, somehow "They" would know, and send me off to jail. I just recently learned the truth in this. I'm 15.

I was about 12 when satellite tv first came on and I thought that all the presenters on satellite tv channels had to be taken up to a tv studio orbiting the earth to broadcast. Actually, even though I know this is not true I still find myself thinking it is!

when i was 6 i didnt know that tv shows had laugh tracks and live audiences,so i used to think the laughter during a show was actually people at home watching tv .One day i put on golden girls and yelled hi to my grandma into the tv speakers because i knew she would be watching.
