Once when i was little, i'm only 16 now, my dad used to watch the football a lot, but becAUSE of the size of our TV screen we couldn't see the little score box in the corner. When my dad complained about this i lied on the floor and tried to see around the edges of the screen thinking u could see more under there.

You guys probably never heard of this show but I used to watch aaahhhh real monsters and one of the characters names was crumb. I was about five or six and my mom told me to pick up the crumbs on the floor. I thought she said crumb was on the floor so I got on the floor and looked for him. I thought he shrunk so tiny I couldn't see him and I never found him.

I was one of those "the people in the picture can see me too" kids ..Even now i dont like to look at my yearbook unless i look decent and my hair is brushed.

I used to believe that Bruce Lee died because he burst from being full of sweat. My dad told me that he had his sweat glands removed so that he wouldn't sweat on film. Sooo embarassing.

When I was 10 I saw the movie titanic. I took me 3 years to realize the people at the end in the ball room were dead. I thought Rose was dreaming.

The first time I saw a news broadcast on TV, I thought they could see and hear you through the screen. I waved 'hi' to the reporter and then I tried to talk to him and ask him questions.
There was another such incident while I was watching an old Disney cartoon. I belive it was a Western. I thought that I could help Mickey beat up Pistol Pete by hitting his image on the TV screen. I waited for next scene that would show Pete, and when I saw him again, I bopped him with a Tinkertoy piece.

When I was in Elementary school, for some strange and unknown reason I used to think that the actors in movies consisted of dead bodies that were used as puppets so real people didn't have to do it. Very creepy, now that I think of it.

I used to believe that there were cameras in the eyes of the popstar posters on my walls. Therefore I could never change in my room!!How embarrasing it would be if they saw me naked! So I always took my clothes to the bathroom to change. It took so long to get rid of that idea..So long that when I was 16,my mum took me to a psychologist which didn't work =) well..you know what they say, time fixes stuff =) (and now I wouldn't mind stripping in front of Mr.Pitt!)

I used to believe that the people in photographs could see me and change their face or positions when I wasn't looking.I still turn pictures around when I want privacy.

As a kid I believed that just like we saw the actors in the movies they were watching us. So, some of my unnecessary actions like a sudden smile or a karate pose or a whistle at a small girl could be understood now..

As a child, I thought some cartoons were made with human actors and scenery and the film then was edited to give it a "cartoon" look.

When I was about 4 or 5, I was playing the pots and pans (like I always did almost everyday). At the time, I was also watching Sesame Street when they said something like "what's that?" And of course as a kid, I thought that they were talking about how they could hear me playing the pots and pans. Let's just say that I never played the pots and pans ever again, out of fear that I would be overheard by the characters on the television.

I used to believe…

When I was a kid my Grandpa and I would watch "The Lawrence Welk Show" on public television every Saturday night. For some reason, I thought the people who sang on that show just showed up there off of the street and were put on the show. I told everyone that I was going to go on that show when I "grew up".

I used to believe…

When I was really young--from age 4 to about age 6, I think--I used to believe that the people pictured in newspapers could see me! I used to talk to them and pretend they were talking back. Where I got this idea, I'll never know.

I used to believe…

When I was little at home all day with my mum, she listened to a radio show that had traffic news at regular intervals. At the beginning and end of the traffic news segments, there was a jingle with people singing "Drive safely!".

I thought they were singing "Christ save me!"

when i was little i used to watch sesame street as everyone did but i was petrified of the cookie monster and big bird so much so that i would never let any doors or windows be unlocked in the whole house out of fear, needless to say it my parents got pretty annoyed with me when the tempreature was 40 degrees and i demanded all the windows to be closed.

Rugrats used to be my favorite show when I was 4 or 5. I at first thought that they were actually babies (not knowing cartoons were animated and such). But then I was like "Babies can't talk". So, i came to the conclusion of midgets dressing up in baby costumes.
