I used to believe that when a commercial came on for a sweepstakes, when it said at the end, "Many will enter, few will win," I misheard it and thought that it was actually saying, "Many will enter, YOU will win." I'm still waiting to win something like they promised I would.

Theres this add on TV which is for a roof restaler. Part of its cachy song is Watch This Roof actually thats the name of this company.

Well on the way home one afternoon my friend and I say a sign saying Watch This Roof. Thinking it meant Watch this roof we stood on the road for nearly 20 minutes thinking something would happen. Later we found out that that sign meant the roof had been restalled by the company.

When I was like 8 or 9 I would watch TV and see those commercials for acne care. My brother was about 14 and he had pimples and I remember hoping that by the time I hit puberty and got pimples that they would still make that kind of stuff (I thought it was just a fad that would go away!)

When I was a kid, I believed advertisements. In the 70's happy faced scrubbers came out and cleaned your bathtub for you in the commercial. So when my mother sent me upstairs to clean our tub, I was so excited. I sprayed the tub with the product and waited... Nothing. Soon Mom came up and asked what I was doing staring at the tub and to get busy. It was a good lesson, but heartbreaking. You should add a section about advertisements.

When I was like 4 years old, I seriously thought that Carrot Top was Ronald McDonald! Now that I'm almost 16, I definitely know better! XD

I used to see Kroger commercials on TV as a kid, and I thought for sure it was continuosly being filmed live at the Kroger my mom and I shopped at. So whenever I would go to the store with her, I was always on the lookout for the cameras, hoping to be in the next TV commercial.
