When I was a kid I used to think Walt Disney was make-believe--like Santa or the Tooth Fairy. I guess Micky and his gang seemed to good to be true.

When I was about 3 - 3 and a half, I believed that Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Alice from Alice in Wonderland lived in the lady's house down the road. Whenever we visited I never saw them and was CONVINCED, WITHOUT a DOUBT, that she was hiding them behind a closed door that I was never allowed in.

I though the "D" written in "Walt Disney" on some videos was actually a backward "G".

When we were kids, we would ride in the car with my Mom, and one part of an expressway we traveled often went over a rock quarry.
For years, our Mom had us convinced this is where Fred Flintstone worked! We used to look all over that place for the dinosaurs LOL

I used to believe that cartoons lived inside the TV and you could tell them what to do by shouting into the back of the set, whenever popeye was in trouble i used to go mental for him to eat his spinach.

I used to believe thanks to Tom and Jerry that if you blow on your thumb hard enough then your hand would turn into a huge fist that would pummel anyone that made you mad. I still find my self blowing on my thumb when im in my room in a bad mood.

i used think animated films were shot on special film to look like a cartoon. I never questioned why the animals talked and stuff though

i use to think that when simba from the lion king grew up, he wasn't him and it was his dad that came back to life (since he looked a lot like him). Whenever someone would say, "no thats simba but hes older" i wouls start yelling at them and thinking how stupid they are for not realizing that his dad had come back to life.

I used to believe that all my favourite cartoon characters were in the attic of my house. They had a window so that they could see down into my room. The window was magic, so when i looked up, all i could see was a ceiling.

I used to talk to them all the time while looking up at the ceiling, but i was too scared to climb up there because my brother told me there were monsters guarding the doors in the attic, but thats another story.

I have always loved pokemon all my life. However...at one point, it got a little too serious. When I was 6-right before 10, I believed that when I turned 10(in Pokemon, 10 is when you could start using/keeping pokemon), some kind of pokemon god would teleport me to the pokemon universe.

When I was a child, I was insanely in love with a cartoon character. Up to the point of kissing and hugging the TV and worse when such and such was on. I also made lots of noises like "Come HERE!" and "SUCH AND SUCH PLEASE COME OUT!" and so on. I thought if I made a big enough noise the character would come out o' the screen and we would, um, marry. *whistle*. I had to go to a psycologist because of this. I still fantazise about such and such.

Thank God Almighty I'm Not Married
