I used to believe kids in movies and shows were chosen from talent shows held at schools or were just found in public because they looked like who they wanted to play a character. Took me a long time to learn about these people called "agents" from something called a "talent agency".

When I was young, I used to believe that the Disney princess were real. Every day, I watched a Disney movie because I really loved the Disney princess. One day, I think I was four years old, and my parents, me and others members of my family were going to Disneyland Paris. I saw a lot of princesses and I was very happy. Later, I learnt that the princess didn't exist and I was very disapointed. My parents lied to me !

I used to go the cinema with my familly, a character died and his was bleeding, i was very sad for him
But in the car when we returned to home, i said to my family that was very sad because the actors i liked had died, but my family said "no it's just acting" I felt very stupid !

I just recently remembered that when I was little and saw Disney's Peter Pan, the "Indian Chief" was so cartoony and caricatured and had such a growly voice that I thought he was some kind of minotaur-like monster and his war bonnet was actually a crest of feathers and horns growing out of his head.

When I first read about the Cannes Film Festival, I thought "Cannes" was the name of a PERSON, rather than a city. I figured he was some famous director or something.

I didn't know how old certain movies actually were. I was quite surprised to find out in 2000 that Fantasia dated all the way back to 1940, since the live action footage of the orchestra was in color, and I thought that color film hadn't been invented until the 1960s.

When I was little, I used to watch movies with my dad at the cinema. And before go in there we always wached the trailers. I loved it ! But my dad laughed at me because I pronounced the word "trailer" badly. I said : "bande-anus" instead of "bande-annonce". I did understand why my parents were laughing!
