I used to believe that when they made a movie, even the characters faces were made up. When I was about six, I was really shocked to see some character I recognized from a movie being interviewed. HOW could the actor look JUST LIKE the character?!?

when i was like 8 and i saw "sweet home alabama " the dvd said "rese witherspoon" i went to the kitchin and got a spoon and watch the movie with it, lol

When I was very little I believed that every time you watched a movie the actors would have to be notified and would have to re-enact the entire movie while it was broadcast on the TV. I was always amazed that they didn't blink while the movie was paused.

My favorite belief from when i was about 10 was that E.T. lived next door. Our neighbor sounded just like E.T. I thought that couldnt be right because of course E.T. went home and why would E.T. be living next door to me. And how did he turn into a human instead of a alien... The odd thing is they have a tortose whose name really is E.T. that made me even more confused. Well he kinda looked like E.T. and maybe he didnt go home after all just shrank and moved into my neighbors yard... and gave his voice to my neighbor...My friends teased me for years when I told them I thought she sounded like him i never mentioned the rest... :)

My father was watching Camelot one evening (yes...the musical with Robert Goulet and Richard Harris). There is one scene when King Arthur is furious with his wife because she is being so unkind and unwelcoming to Sir Lancelot. The character of King Arthur has a song that he sings about it. At the beginning of the song, he is quite loud and slams a door or two. When I asked my dad why, he told me that it was because King Arthur drank some cola at dinner and the caffeine was keeping him up. He was unhappy and upset because he couldn't sleep.

I am ashamed to admit how many years I believed *that* one....

a little boy once told me that the scariest movie ever was "harry potter and the chocolate factory" i assume that would be a pretty scary movie

When I was about 4 or 5 my mom and I were watching Wizard of Oz. When it was over I asked her why the people forgot to color some parts of the movie. I believed someone took markers out of a box and colored the TV.

When I was 7, I was into stuff like today's Candyman and It. I was brave and never got scared until I saw Scary Movie (2000). That's when I wet my bed. I never knew humor 'till then.

At 8 my mom thought I would enjoy the movie the Excorcist?! For the next two years I believed the devil was going to possess me, so I used to put my dolls and stuffed animals in a cocoon around me to protect me. What was my mom thinking? (I still have never watched that movie to this day)
