when I was younger i took for granted that judge judy was not a real person. When I was in kindergarten i found out that she was actually real, and told all my friends who were also very surprised.

When i was about 8, my mom fell asleep on the couch as she was wont to do and i was sitting in front of the TV and i think the movie had ended but all of a sudden a big SCARY clown face appeared on the shut-off TV and it scared the bejesus out of me because i thought it was real! OOOOHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh

When I was little I thought everything on TV was animated. I got into a lot of fights with my cousins over this !

i used to think when we would turn the television of it would pause on whatever i was watching. and when i turned it back on to continue watching the program it was different and i would yell at my mom for causing me to miss my shows.

When I was younger, I used to think that they filmed or animated every episode of a tv show the day after the previous one had aired, so it was more like real life.

This is one that my daughter (who is 8) believes...that you can fastward DVR by rewinding it. She does'nt understand that real time is still moving and that when she rewinds and forwards it back that she can only go to live tv. It drives me insane, I tell ya!

When I was 2, I used to belive that barney was behind the tv when I would watch him, and he was just acting out the scenes behind the tv

when i was younger i used to think that if i shouted into the speakers the people on screen could hear me, i used to shout at them to do stuff, they never did any of it though!

i used to think that there was a place and they had a huge t.v and they had all the videos in the universe and they could just put one in and that was what would be on t.v

but i mostly remember thinking that it was green and it was in the sky
