music: misheard lyrics

I used to think the Lyrics to Tub Thumping were " kissing the night away, kissing the night today" until a minute ago when I read someone elses belief about the song, and how they though along the smae lines...theline is "pissing the night away!

Actually my dad, who is a huge Rolling Stones fan, swears that it is "It's just that needle I forgot you're in it's sway." Or at least thats what he heard back in the day...

When I was in 7th grade, a boy i liked would visit his relatives in Georgia. I thought it was really funny when Frankie Valli's song came out "Mike's in Georgia" (though it was really "My eyes adored You"!)

In Christina Aguilara's song dirty, I thought that when they said in the beginning "too dirty to clean my act up" that they were saying "too dirty to clean my bathtub"

When my foreign cousin came to visit from sweden, he used to sing the transformer song, but being a foreigner, he wasn't exactly singing the correct lyrics.
"Transformers...more than meets the eyes" was mutated into "Transformers, owneh weensy eyes...otherwise" Now why he stuck the "otherwise" part in always blew me and my brother away...I guess he figured that since he thought he knew the words, he can add his own twist at the end????????

In the Green Day song Extrordinary Girl there is a line where they sing, 'the regrets are useless in my mind' and i thought it was 'the raindrops are useless in my mind'

when my little brother was about 8 he used to sing that song 'put another dime in the jutebox baby' except his verson was more like 'put another diamond in the juice box baby' actually i think he still says that....

jennifer lopez she sings 'my love don't cost a thing' although i heard....'my love don't come for free' i guess i completely missed the point of that song ey!

There's a song that goes "for the life of me, I cannot believe we'd ever die for these sins, we were only freshmen." I was so confused by this when I was little because I thought they were saying "I cannot believe we'd ever die, forty cents, we were only freshmen."

In the song "All These Things That Ive Done" by The Killers i thought the line was "my erection, well it comes and goes.."

when i was younger like junior high school i was really into music and i would make lyric books for my fave songs, I would hand write the lyrics in a notebook...etc. well in the song achy breaky heart by billy ray cyrus in the verse that say myself already knows im not okay (i could not make out this line at all) so i asked my moms help....we came to the conclusion it say "a seperated nose is not ok" LMAO!

Until a couple of months ago i used to think the song "girls on film" was "girls on wheels" why? i dunno!

I used to think the part in Madonna's "music" that goes, "music makes the bourgeiouse and the rebel..." actually went "Music makes the bushwa plebes have the rhythm..yea" I didn't know what "plebo" meant back then but now i do, so that makes it alot more funny now..

I used to think the words of Musical Youth's song "Pass the dutchie on the left-hand side" were "Arzy dodgy on the left-hand side".

In r.e.s.p.e.c.t by aretha franklin i thoguth instead of 'take care, TBC' i thought she was singing about TCP! you know the anticeptic stuff, i don';t know why i thought she was singing about it but i don't know what TBC is anyways.

When I was 3 I heard a song (I forget what it's called but I still hear it all the time) and I thought it said "I don't wanna weigh too much for the weigher."
